    I never saw it like that.. in terms of what max did after Silverstone, hungary, I will quote jorge masvidal, it was all "super necessary" to keep him ahead till final race.
    on top of that he delivered the drives he did. perfect call in sochi for example to come in, and then do some old-school rain driving to save the result. ofc zandvoort and austin were great too with lu in the slipstream all race. + the issues with sight from the crash.. cmon, that was a testament to perseverance and grit. not "cracking"

    Let's talk about Silverstone 2021. Rewind 24 hours to the sprint race. Lewis finds himself on the outside of Copse and yeilds to Max. 24 hours later and Lewis is on the inside and Max still doesn't yeild. Max has a modus operandi - brake too late for the corner and if the openent doesn't yield, then they both crash! Norris had the same experience with Max earlier this year, Hungary, 2024, when referring to Max, "he was only ahead because he braked way too deep".

    • @youbetu18
      @youbetu18 6 днів тому +4

      Newey clearly thinks the accident in the GP was intentional, but thats obviously subjective (and biased at the time) so up for debate as we cannot see into Lewis head. what isnt up for debate is that in the sprint there was no breach of the rules but in the GP there was.
      learn the rules. lewis was behind at the apex in both the silverstone sprint 21 (lewis on the outside) and the actual GP (lewis on the inside). if you are outside and behind at the apex you have to yield. max didnt make him do shit, its the rules. meanwhile in the GP max was ahead at the apex on the outside in contrast to lewis in the sprint. therefore both Max on the outside and lewis on the inside had the right of space which lewis didnt honor. hence why he got a penalty.
      FIA rules are very clear about whether you have right of space in a corner. its also judged differently for the inside and outside car. Inside car only needs to be alongside at the apex (so at least front wheels to back wheels of opponent). Outside car however, because it can break later, needs to be ahead at the apex for right of space.
      this means: if inside car is ahead it can rightfully run the outside car out wide because it owns the corner (your sprint race example). if outside car is ahead and inside car alongside they share the corner (silverstone example). if outside car is ahead and inside car fully behind, inside car needs to yield.
      of course there is some additional stuff. like you cant drive dangerously to arrive first at the apex, like locking up. aka Max in hungary on lewis. yes he was alongside at the apex before the crash but he arrived locking up which then makes it his fault.
      its quite simple but you guys never bother to read the rules. I can post a link to the exact article from the FIA website if you dont believe this. no problem :)

    • @tailonchallenger6471
      @tailonchallenger6471 6 днів тому +1

      why would you yield when your ahead 😂. What kind of response is that? Lewis was never ahead in that corner both times. He was desperate and the pressure of getting points got to him. So he made a careless move and it worked out for him by taking his rival out 🤷‍♂️

      Go look at on-bourds of Lewis Mate !!!! he had half a car to the Apex on his right and behind, why he hit Max back wheel because he tried to push him wide. Silverstone 2021 was all on Hamilton , exactly what the Marshals saw, hence why he got a 10s penalty !!! Things nobody talks about is the fact that Max lost a brand new engine that day and at least 18 points,that was the reason Lewis was still in the fight at AB2021. That PU problem caused Max to run his last engine at lower performance to conserve it or face penalties, without that crash in Silverstone Max would have been faster that last 5 plus races and Champion any way after AB2021 even if he came second!!!!
