AC/DC is a legendary rock band & been playing for the past 50 years. They performed this at a football stadium & there was not an empty seat to be had!! Ya'll should listen to more of their performances!!
My mom and dad grew up to this music and then past it to me and my brother we will be 25 years old in August this year 2021and started listening to the 70s 80s music in high school love this kind of music.
AC/DC are from Australia, they are called "Accadacca" there :P They were the lead band at the "Monsters of Rock" festival in 1991 which was the biggest metal concert ever(I think) with over 1.6 million in the audience :)
True we do call then Acca Dacca in Straya mate! No Ac/Dc down here mate, if u ask as an Aussie about Ac/Dc they'll have know idea, they are called Acca Dacca, us Aussie's give everyone & everything a nickname or shorten someone's name or a town or something, everything!
Hi Guys, AC /DC have a brand new album out now called PWR /UP, which is number 1 in 18 countries, including the UK, USA, and Canada, Shot in the Dark from the new album is amazing and worth a look, it was Malcolm and Angus's sister Margaret that came up with the name of the band after seeing AC /DC written on the side of a sewing machine, they were formed in 1973 in Sydney, Australia by Scottish born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, singer Brian Johnson is 73 years old and is English, bassist Cliff Williams is 70, and is English, Angus Young, the lead guitarist is 65 (he's in the schoolboy outfit)!! Malcolm Young sadly passed away in 2017 aged 64 due to dementia and was replaced by nephew Stevie Young, 63, drummer Phil Rudd is Australian and is 66, the drummer in this video is Chris Slade, he's Welsh, and is now 74 years old and still rockin away, not with AC /DC, original drummer Phil Rudd is back in the band!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸
The young boys have a sister, she has a sewing machine, on the back they spotted AC/DC, meaning electricity, alternating current and direct current=Plug in power or batteries. The same sister who made Angus, his adult school uniforms for the stage. He started gigging aged 16 straight after school, still in uniform.
Ya'll want to get a feel for a real rock concert , check out highway to hell live at river plate! It woo melt your face off! Good job! React to more rock you dudes need to get ready for some old classics.
The singer is now pushing up 75 and I think he's done his best singing in their last album. Awesome! Congrats for your videos. I suggest you Doom and gloom by the Rolling Stones. God bless you.
No mosh at an AC/DC show but what you are watching is a video. Picture Madison Square Garden in NYC filled with all my headbanging brothers and sisters gettin right with the world watching cannons go off and the lead singer swinging from a giant bell.....hip hop don't give you this feeling
Pausing a guitar solo - any solo - is punishable by getting dragged into a parking lot and having seven shades of shit kicked out of you. Do not ever stop a solo. Ever. First rule of rock/metal.
I loved your reactions! It was wonderful watching you see AC/DC, one of my favorite bands, for the first time! Your videos are just sublime! AC/DC are an Australian band. The lead guitarist and the rhythm guitarist are Angus and Malcolm Young. They are the founders of the band and the principal songwriters. Brian Johnson is lead vocals, Chris Slade is on drums (replacing Phil Rudd) and Cliff Williams on bass. Brian Johnson joined the band when original lead singer, Bon Scott, died of a drug overdose in 1979. The name AC/DC came from when Angus and Malcolm were helping their sister move her sewing machine, and on the back of the machine was a switch that said ac/dc (AC/DC is an electrical term for types of electrical current).
FYI, this song is the theme song for the movie Battleship where your sista Rihana acted in. You should also react to Shoot To Thrill, theme song for Iron Man 2, live version at River Plate Argentina. Mr. Radley few comments earlier below correctly mentioned that the duck walk Angus Young does all the time was made famous by the legendary Chuck Berry who also revolutionised Rock & Roll guitar lead licks.
Their concerts are amazing, been to 3 of them, Monsters of Rock in Donington, England in 1992, Munich in 2000, and Hampden Park, Glasgow, Scotland in 2015!! 😀 😀, founder member Malcolm Young came up with the name of the band after seeing AC/DC on a plug, and the rest is history!! 😀😀🤘🤘🎸🎸
Went to HS is Berkeley, Ca., they used to put out the new shit at 11am in the record stores. Me and a friend cut out early to get this album, went to Lavall's pizza in North Berkeley to get lunch, and would not get out of the car until the album was done. Just sitting at a meter headbanging.
There's not a lot of modern rock bands I've heard that have the sort of upbeat tone you're looking for, but you could try Airbourne (similar style to AC/DC), Halestorm, and Band-Maid.
Let the song finish. Sometimes with rock songs, you think it's finished but it hasn't. It didn't really matter with this one, but it's a bad habit to get into
First of all, thank you young people, keeping this music alive, and Angus,.on the guitar,.huh, you wanna learn how to galavant all over the stage while playing guitar and not missing a beat,? well you need to look at Chuck Berry, that's who Angus learned from!!, and yes they as a band can really pack a crowd, went to see them in the 80's, sold out, they came back 9/10/00, bigger venue but I don't think everybody knew, not enough promoting they didn't fill it, Pink Floyd had,, 64,000, ,but they have concerts on here , there's an outdoor one ACDC did and its just a sea of humans, you gotta be fire, them, Jay-Z, Metallica, the Stones, Rush, Michael Jackson, Queen, the list is few, those that fill stadiums, the rock now, it's different, these groups even considering there was no social media, UA-cam, they got the exposure because they were always on the radio, and on somebody's show, Midnight Special, Ed Sullivan, Soul Train, American Bandstand , plus the night shows, Johnny Carson, Flip Wilson, Saturday Night Live, that's the reason many of us didn't, rush out and buy every single or album that came out , didn't always have the money , but between the radio and all these tv shows, we got a full dose,..and no fuss, yess if you grew up hearing this you would've soaked it in like we did, but you can.now!more ACDC,"TNT, Shot Down.in Flames, The Girl's Got Rythm, You Shook Me All Night, Back in Black, For Those About to Rock (if you get a live show, they use a real cannon!, mad men!), enjoy, Godspeed ,Peace ✌

Here is a list that you should try: -Bad Boy Boogie (live) -Let There be Rock (official video) -Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at river Plate) -TNT (Live at River Plate) - I really Recommend this! -Riff Raff
Listen to houzier work song or Rolling Stones beast of burden live in 1976 ( I believe) my son was in first grade during the quarantine and his PE Teacher had the kids in his class do burpees to this song my son did 37 burpees and jumping jacks in between the word thunder or thunder struck! My little creole gave everyone a run for their money.😳😳👍👍😎
They took their name off of a sewing machine - which had the option of running on AC - alternating current, or DC direct current. You can find it on AC/DC Wikipedia. It was the brothers who formed the band, sisters idea. She also came up with the schoolboy costume for Angus, the lead guitar player. The vocalist is the second one for the band, the first died young from acute alcohol poisoning. With all due respect, AC/DC was not really great before the vocalist in your video, who got the job quite by chance. Once onboard, they took off like a rocket. They have many many other songs just as strong and powerful. Listen to Hells Bells next
Hi Guys, Just to let you know that this is an Australian band. They did , "Power-Blues Rock". That's what we call it down here. They influenced many other Australian Bands. This one is called JET and they are the next generation. The guitarist is even wearing an AC/DC T-Shirt. Have a look at this one and tell us what you think? ua-cam.com/video/tuK6n2Lkza0/v-deo.html
The MTV Unplugged version of "Black" by Pearl Jam is a hit. Not exactly the newest song but it's newer. You could also check out "The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance. As far as modern rock, it's basically sh!t now; the most prolific generations were from the 60's 'til the mid-2000's. Arguably, the most iconic rock song is Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, (I like the live version) but be careful because Zep has strong copyright penalties here on UA-cam.

If you want to see an AC/DC moshpit, watch any song from "Live At River Plate"......70,000 plus crowd and about 30,000 of them in the pit! It's insane! If you do, make it 'Whole Lotta Rosie'!
Hey, you guys should definitely check out nightwish a symphonic metal band from Finland, 1996-2020 current singer Floor Jansen is Dutch and probably the best female singer ever she can growl and hit high notes, she can also speak and sing in multiple languages, try nightwish wacken 2013 ghost love score live show and then romantacide next, awesome awesome thanks 😊
There's an Australian Band that did a cover of an Old blues song from America called "Black Betty". The Band's called SPIDER BAIT and they were influenced by AC/DC too. They applied the AC/DC magic to it. Have look. ua-cam.com/video/nU1VfYYKMDk/v-deo.html

I suppose it depends where you draw the line on what's Rock and what's Metal. And a lot of modern Rock these days, at least that gets really popular, leans more towards Pop Punk, Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, or Pop Rock. But just off the top of my head Muse, Halestorm, or Avenged Sevenfold might fit what you're looking for.
You’re right. Rock music is not the same. Today’s rock will die and this will always live on. Guns and Roses Sweet Child O Mine is also one of the best rock songs you’ll ever here. Check it out. Thanks for this!
Don't click on this link unless you are ready to react but THIS is the new Benchmark for Metal bands...This band, in this song, is one of the most cohesive bands from the vocals to the drums...I am still getting goosebumps even after hearing it over 20 times...What an awesome compilation... It's an homage to Berry, but Angus owns it
