Apparently leather sheaths are BAD for Damascus steel, though? Like, I bought one last autumn, and when I looked up proper care for a Damascus steel blade, EVERY site I found with care instructions was like "DON'T USE LEATHER!!! IT CAN NEGATIVELY AFFECT THE QUALITY OF THE BATCH STEEL AND PROVOKE THE OXIDATION PROCESS!!!" and they recommend using cloth/canvas for Damascus blades instead...? But my leather one is so cool! I don't want to have to get rid of it!!! 😫 Hmmmm.... Maybe I can make a smaller cloth/canvas insert to act as a barrier between the blade and sheath? 🤔
Great sheath and I love the profile and that handle! Great job!
Tyrell Knifeworks thanks

Nice build. I wish i could afford all those stuffs.
Puh, das kratzt aber heftig am Damast, oder? Ich würde das Leder innen noch schön mit Vaseline einfetten
