@@mohammedisham7295 its basically how the government quietly passes all the bills and laws to consolidate power, remove oversight and penalization over their own actions should the situation arise, and usually even the opposition is also happy with such bills and most people do not see such bills being passed as there is no immediate method of interruption by the masses voting to halt such bills in real-time or have an intervention. Because the only time people have a say is during elections. So yeah this is why it happens. The problem is created at a different time than when the problematic individuals are brought to power.
