This reminded me of how much I miss games like WM:A, NFL Blitz, NHL Hitz, MLB Slugfest, Red Card 20-03, NBA Street, and SSX. I have never like sports games, but when they are purposely over the top, they are a blast.
Especially SSX. I never thought I'd dig a snowboarding game, but it wound up being one of the 4 launch titles I bought with the system (along with Armored Core 2, Evergrace, and SFEx3). To this day, SSX Tricky remains one of my favorite games in PS2's library. Hell, how about doing to look at the SSX series on the channel?

Dude, “Batman” Sega Genesis OST in the background is A+. Always loved that soundtrack.
The digitized graphics were always pretty cool to me. It definitely made everything stand out visually, and the behind-the-scenes process was really interesting to see. Plus having those sprites made it possible to mod games, like the video going around featuring Razor Ramon in Mortal Kombat. A crossover I didn’t know I needed.
The special moves were always crazy. That fighting game, arcade-style influence was something I never got into.
And those endings...my god, the elseworlds tales we could have seen from the New Generation.
Never seen a single Ghoulie movie haha. Awesome video man!

I'm from Russia. We didn't watch WWF until 1999 or 2000, because our TV did not show this. And WWF video games were the only source of info about wrestling and WWF. HBK, Undertaker, Bam Bam, Yoko - we didn't even know, are they real or fictional. But this game was awesome, and many of us picked favorite wrestler before watching it on TV.

Wrestlemania the arcade game? You can not imagine how much i played it back in the days. Again and again and again. Although there weren't a lot of game modes to play. Although there were "only" six/eight wrestlers playable. I still got it today and still play it from time to time on my super nintendo. I love it. I don't know what it was that fascinated me there. Maybe the sounds or maybe the crazy moves or maybe the graphics (they looked pretty damn cool in the 90's) maybe the commentary or maybe all togother.
