Can you do a video on good welding trucks to get for beginning that’s on a budget and good welding machine and what jobs to take on when you first graduate school?
Sure is coming along nicely Jake 👍🇺🇸! I was just thinking that after this bed build series, it'd be great to see an interview of Randy. See what advice and such he'd be willing to share. Anyway, keep up the great work buddy 👍.
It is coming together nicely. One tip I would give you is next time drill your holes for the license plate and tack some lock nuts on the back before you weld it on the truck. That is so small and in thought of, but definitely will be worth the time😂😂
Look to ur brother in law is the foreman of the project just love that's little dude brother that rig is looking beautiful just a master piece let me know if you want I can airbrush some bad ass murals on it be safe brother and keep on welding
@@JacobSchofield Perfect Thanks a bunch! The pancakes aren't CSA certified in Canada so can't use those on the row, hope the leather will block out the sun a bit more. Cheers.
That square hole above the license plate area is for mounting a vice or something, isn't it? I've seen them done like that before, but how do you secure your vice? I was planning on putting one on my flatbed that sticks out so I can secure things with a pin, but that style would be lot cleaner and safer.
So they make a spring loaded pin. That is hidden on the back side of the skirt. Your a hundred percent right though it’s for mounting his roll out wheel.

Saludos desde Galicia - Reino de España....
Looks amazing!! Glad to see your doing good Jake!
Patiently waiting on your blue prints & material list
Sorry guys I will get them to you shortly. My guy that was supposed to be drawing them dropped the ball.
It is looking good buddy.
Got mine all done it is working out really good.
Damn good work
Put the gooseneck ball in. If you never use it, flip it over. Just a lot easier to install during the build vs after the fact. My .02.
Yeaaa!!! boy finally
Hope you saw the apology and the bed only one word comes to mind excellent
What Guage plate are you using for the boxes the last box I built was out of 12ga
What kind of portable drill is that at 10:48 in the video? That looks heavy duty.
So that’s a mag drill!! Really nice drill but pretty expensive. Randy got it in a trade. Makes punching big holes a piece of cake
At our shop we usually make flip up 5th wheel hitches for the trucks. Maybe that might work for you as well?
Blair I really wish he would of put one in but he decided not to. I have no idea why.
Can you do a full video interviewing him ? Thanks.
Was wondering how you seal the lids on the boxes to protect your equipment. Also do you make drain holes?
That cold circular saw apears as valuable as your torch, have you used any other brands, if so which do you prefer and why?
Just ordered my pancake hood from outlaw leather can’t wait brotha
Bro got any plans for building that pipe rig bed?
Does anyone know where the blueprints of this build are?
Where did you get that lid with just the leather on top and not on the bottom? Does it help block the sun a little more?
Carter it is from outlaw leather usa. if you get on our website you can order hand tooled ones

@@JacobSchofield Ok, cool. Do you know where I could get one of these pins or even just a forum or something to see how it all goes together?

Has it already been said total cost in materials roughly? Curious how much it’s gonna cost or at least ball park it
