How to crochet Backpack pattern #3

Step-by-step tutorial on how to crochet a very simple backpack. Designed with a base at the bottom so that when this is set down, it would stand upright. The base is also designed with holes at the bottom corners for the drawstrings.The main panel has only 2 pattern repeats with distinct design. This is a quick project with very simple, easy to follow pattern and assembly.

I’m using a four weight cotton yarn, but my base is smaller than your measurements. Should I just do more rows until it’s the dimensions that you mention

Yes. Difference in measurements is normal since yarns, although indicate the same weight and size, I notice still differ. Also, the tension when we crochet matters a lot too. So, you're correct, just do more rows until you get to your desired measurement. Thank you for your question.
