- Step-by-step tutorial on how to crochet a very simple backpack. Made of cotton yarn and very light. I use this when I run errands or go for a walk when I only need to carry basic stuff. This is a quick project with very simple, easy to follow pattern and assembly.

From looks of bag ,I thought it was going to be difficult. I was wrong glad I took the time to watch. I plan on making one in a spring color for my Granddaughter Kinslee, her Easter 🐣 bag. Fill with some candy but mostly little girly things I can get from the 5&dime. Great tutorial! Hugs
I just finished the bag. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. I was afraid it would be difficult, but it was easy and a lot of fun. Looks great!
Thank you for sharing - almost done with me - can't wait to finish so I can brag about a new project again.

This pattern is fantastic. I made it and I love it! The advantage is, you could use different styles of stitches for the rectangles and get different bags, but the concept of how it’s put together is wonderful! Thank you so much.

I miss you. Please if possible post more.
Cute backpack! Thank you for sharing!
How long do you leave for strings to sew sides
How many skeins of yarn did you use?
Just finished first panel
Hello, This is coming together wonderfully, but can anyone tell how can I count the rows?
Can you please examine how to thread the strings at the top???
I don’t understand how you fed strings through the holes
I think it's the same as shown in this video. Around 21:00 mark ua-cam.com/video/6GXYxxF6Y3A/v-deo.html

Has anyone tried using a t-shirt yarn for this project? If so, what hook size to achieve gauge? Just trying to use something I have handy to make this BEAUTIFUL backpack.
Just wanna ask, is it okay to use milk cotton yarn for backpacks? Thank you
I think so. Thank you!
Do you have the pattern for the hat on your head?
I don't have the written pattern but there is a tutorial. The color of the hat in the tutorial is orange if I remember it right. So different from what I'm wearing here but same pattern. Thank you!
How many skins did you use for full bag? I needed 2 skins for one panel. Please advise
2 skeins. Thank you for asking.
@@CraftingShed Hmm! I needed more than two to make two panels
Of course it came out beautiful 😍
Did you put the lining in before or after
After.
Is there any way I could do this with just 2 colors? Please help!
Yes, you can alternate colors every 2 rows. Thank you!
so excited to try this! may i ask how many ply did your yarn have? ♥️
This is cotton yarn, size #4. The label didn't indicate how many plies. Hope this helps. Thank you!
The yarn am using is smaller and it requires double or even triple of what you did
Row 3: 6:25
Row 4: 9:11
