- This is a late night departure, apologies in advance for the lights glaring in the background. These are the FADEC controlled GE CF6-80C2 series engines. You can clearly hear #2 light off and accelerate. Turn up the volume as always.
I love how at 0:53 you can see the cabin lights flicker when the power source changes from apu to GEN 2
+What kind of music you listen to?
-It’s complicated
I love that initial startup sound
The 777 also has a great initial startup
0:40 These are the deep vibrations that can be heard in the cabin during engine start
U mean 0:36?
When I was plane spotting I saw a A320N starting up in front of me and it made that sound for a long time
I knew they were GE my all time favorite engine. what a lovely sound.
I love the sound when the bleed valve opens and the starter spools up moving the gearbox.Thats why I love my job
The closer you stand the more likely you’ll receive the grand prize
So I've been wasting my energy all this time on the Showcase Showdown? Lol
What is the surprise???
@@Jupiter-shorts_death lol
😂@@1000BT
love it when 0:34 when the fuel kicks in
Love the sound
My ps4 when i turn it on at 3 am:
The Sound of POWER
Wow! I need one of those in my garden!!!
I can hear the air hissing inside and that's a good indicator that its going to kick over
It's going to kick over
+Brian Hill yep and that comma like spinner is a reminder to get away from the intake while she fires up and reaches idle speed
@@derekwall200 helps to see at night. Because a black spinner wouldn’t do well
@@DraconicMaker 😂
I live for this :)
Music to my ears
oh my that sound good!!!
when I was little I thought this GE was stupid but now amazing!!
They even made the GE90 which is deep enough to vibrate the terminal building
Pratt and Whitney engine are worst
@@deborshikashyap6745 yeah....ok. Ever hear of the F-4?
@@justing42 nope let me hear
I love the start sound and is General Electric CF6
Damn I never heard of a FADEC controlled CF6 on a 767. Only on A330s
How about shutdown too?🥺🙏
At 53/4 seconds the cabin lights flashed. Switched from APU to engine power?
Considering it’s engine 2 the right buses would’ve switched to engine 2 generator at that point so yeah
Also may use bleed air from engine 1 to start engine 2.
Bus transfer good.
0:17 Engine starts
I love that sound
So awesome
I have a cool job. :)
It would make a great vacuum cleaner just need a giant hose and away you go.
I probably wouldn’t stand that close to it
the person is VERY far away
is this omni air?
Indeed it is
That's GE Engine am I right
The CF6 has a shorter startup than the GE90
Well it’s not as big of an engine so it makes sense
GE CF6-80C2B1F
Whats the significance of the loud humming sound starting at :36 seconds? I’ve always assumed thats when the fuel starts getting injected.
It is actually
What airline?
Sound is awfully distorted. Otherwise, decent video.
Is the pilot adding fuel flow super early on start up? Usually they let N1get to 20+ correct? Anyone have insight on this? Thanks.
they throw fuel at max motor give or take....25% N2. At least thats what I do.
This plane is very small for B767
Влад Пойманов I took the video standing aft of the nose gear. That and the camera perspective make it look short. It is in fact a 767-300ER.
What?
@@airbatica 😂
Cf6 or rolls Royce
0:22 what the sound?
hight pressure turbine?
Start valve opening, then HPC/HPT spooling up.
Oh!Thank you for information)
when does the ignition kick it over?
At 0:35 ;-)
+M95ify,no!
my computer fan is louder
im the 1,000th like
0:16

Must be an Iphone recording this because the video and sound quality is garbage.
