They had to buff its HP bar in order to make it a fair fight, and even then, it is still weak to Fairy Types, with a Double Weakness to Ice! This should be easy for you, you managed to beat Pokémon with only a Mega Rayquaza once! You know all its strengths, weaknesses and niches! I bet you could beat Pokérogue with only a Mega Rayquaza as well, so you can definitely beat an opposing one. After all, who couldn’t beat a Mega Rayquaza with multiple health bars?

@@vulpestellar true, steel also completely breaks that. a single kingambit with iron defense and ray mostly folds, unless it's got dragon pulse for the main attacking move. Plus monotype runs exist on youtube, so I guess you really can make anything work.

And then Finn whipped out the shiny boss Rayquaza on level 145 and my Skeledirge got hit with a painful crit dragon ascent before he could do anything. ... I won on run 2 thanks to Skeledirge power. Plus catching a shiny Latios with an M Ball halfway through the run didn't hurt against the final boss. Jacob truly out here making us better at games by showing us how.

On the topic of Skeledirge being really powerful, I looked through all of the egg moves and passive abilities and found Scovillain can get Torch Song and Parental Bond so you can use it just like a Mega Kangaskhan with Power-Up Punch and get +2 SpAtk every turn and a really strong move

hey alpharad saw the end of the last stream an imm point out ruination. ruination is a move that the 4 ruin legendarys keen by default and does 50% of the target remaining hp regardless of stats.
The Ray fight requires a fair amount of switching. A salt cure mon like Garganacle or Dondozo with rest and sleep talk works really well. Even a bulky stealth rock user like Clodsire is also great, you get a ton of hazard damage by forcing switches. But yeah, doing this without a bulky/support mon is rough
I ended up cheesing the entire end-game because of a Dark/Ghost type Shedinja fusion. Literally nothing has a fairy type move and with Swords Dance setup it was a deathless sweep
The more I see people struggle with 195, the more I think I just got lucky beating it first try the only time I actually played long enough to get there
I deeply enjoyed the post-boss puzzle. That's how I enjoy Pokémon the most, honestly; I suppose it ends up feeling more similar to other JRPGs this way.

I got a Toxasselia (Toxapex+Cresselia), and it just felt unkillable, it could even tank Eternabeams and just Recover on the recharge turn
I got a bibarel with power trip, curse, amnesia and double team. Imagine getting 2 shot by a bibarel.
