Thank you for this perfect tutorial! I have my machine since one week now, never used one before and was able to make my first pair of socks following this video 😊Best regards from Germany!
Thank you so much for sharing this. I appreciate all your time and efforts! I want to try this. I just bought a new to me Brother KH 260. I can’t to learn it and make beautiful knitted items on it
Briggs and Little "Tuffy" is 80%wool 20% nylon. its a cheap worsted yarn that comes in dozens of colors and works well on a chunky machine and they wear forever and wash and dry with ease. I pay $6 cad. per hank. its worth a look online in your area or to ship to you
Thanks so much for your helpful videos. Handknitting socks I use a smaller needle for the heel and toe and double my yarn for reinforcement. Is it possible to double your knitting yarn on a machine, and tighten the tension, for the same reinforcement (for pure wool socks)?
I appreciated your tutorial. I have tried to access your patterns on your website....it just sends you in a loop, can't access free downloads, no contact info....frustrating.
Hi there, are you using a ribber? I have a kh-830 Brother but have not found the ribber for it yet. Is this good for a "never knitted anything" beginner?
I didn't use a ribber on this project. You may want to check out some of my older videos for an easier project like a hat or scarf before trying this one. Socks aren't hard but you may want a little more experience first.
Probably around 200 yds of worsted weight. If you make them a little shorter you can make a pair of adult sock with a skein of worsted weight Patons wool. Fingering weight yarn is usually 1 adult sock per 1.75 oz. skein.

Thank you. The kh260 is a great machine. That's what I knit this on.

Sorry about that. You should have an email with instructions to access the pattern.

Hi there,

Ribber gives you more options for socks, especially knitting in the round. If your doing it this way a lot, you might want to invest in a linker.
How many yards of yarn did you use for one sock?
