I remember seeing those super huge 555 Timers and LM741 scale replicas and saw how they segmented out the function blocks of the circuit. I said to myself "that's neat" and figured we should do something similar.
I'm just getting into this (have only built one pedal that was turret board and have my first 2 PCBs in the mail) I've wondered why nobody had done this before..it makes way more sense and is easier to mod without needing to dig through the schematic to do so..
@@AaronAubreyPhoto I just figured if I was going to break down the schematics into sections in the build docs, I might as well try doing it on the PCB itself. It does make the PCB a bit larger than it needs to be, but for beginners that don't need the board to be cramped (Sorry for that on the Boy in Well), I figured that's a win, win.
I have an interesting inquiry, how do you build an ab switcher that receives commands from an external device via TRS? I'm trying to build a box that has a signal split on the right that would go into two preamp inputs, then have their FX send come back into a ab switcher and out as a mono, and then stereo in to stereo out back into the FX returns of the amps just for ease of routing 6 cables. Why do this? I use a BOSS ES-8 and it has a handy always on send with a return BUT it doesn't support running this to two amps because it's mono. By doing this I'll be able to choose between two different preamps simply by using the ab return and sending the bypassed amp a signal into the FX return to use it's power amp and vice versa. It would be a HUGE game changer for me and many other players who don't even know this is an option. It also wouldn't hurt to have a MIDI in/out for use with an external controller. Also to have a single split on it's way out for a device that only has a MIDI in (digitech whammy, I'm looking at you!!!) would be supreme.
Hi, i'd like to start building pedals and I'd like to start with getting a bluesbreaker style kit an modifying it, id like to add a switch thats connected to a boost circuit with an internal trim pot for volume, I was wondering how i'd be able to power the boost (like would I have to up the voltage, or make any changes to the original circuit) I was also wondering how mids controls work (what component is the potentiometer changing). Anyways just thought I'd reach out for some help getting started.
Cool idea with compartmentalization of the different sections of the circuit. I'm really interested in the Reverb/Delay!! Is it one project or two separate boards? I haven't done a Reverb/Delay combo yet! Keep up the great work👍👍
Looking forward to: builds. This channel has helped me build, complete and realize the process! Thank you 💚
Love the idea of having an educational PCB. It is brilliant!!

Really looking forward to the super series, it's a bloody brilliant idea.

Thank you for your hard work! You provide an incredible service. Can't wait to get my whipper clipper finished!
Thanks for the update, this channel has helped me a lot and I’m due to buy parts from you soon
Looking forward to what’s coming up mate. Your Siberian muff kit is incredible!
Looking forward to the new stuff. Will be out checking the store soon
LOVE THIS CHANNEL !!!💯🎸🖤
Just made the Overdriver, sounds YUGE!
Yeah, that thing packs a wallop
Yep! Missing “s” in www.diyguitarpedals.com.au
That explains that then!

Fixed the link
can you guys make a charge pump kit that gives extra headroom to 9volt pedals?
Any chance of getting a kit for a pedal amp, but for a bass? I don't know if that's even possible.
Looking forward to seeing what these new kits are.
The 10 Min Amp does work for bass, but you will need to make sure your cabinet is bass-ready.
I cant wait for pedal pcb to release the low tide.
dammit I still haven't built the Nightdrive kit I bought 3(?) years ago
missing the "s" in the link
Was literally just wondering why the link wouldn't work.

It's a single pedal with the two effects cascaded.
Awesome! I'll definitely be grabbing one of those when they're released!! Can't wait!!
you mentioned a reverb/delay pedal, not sure what kit that is......maybe the 10 Min. Buffer???
Hi Rryder, these projects are not released yet. They are PCB projects also, not kits. Hope that helps! paul@diygp
Please, make synth too!!!
do you have a kit that is like the Aguilar Tone Hammer?
The Bulldozer can summon very similar sounds and is based around similar topologies.
Anything for bass?
The Bulldozer is a bass specific overdrive, and the Super Siberian has the blend feature added for the Big Muff to be more bass-friendly.
