My first GPU ever was a 9400gt 2gb. I think it was an MSI one... tbh... I even managed to play CRYSIS through it.. I enjoyed the struggle of having to optimize, overclock, change resolution, and so on. It's like how tougher conditions make you more immune. This GPU TBH made me a better guy with computers.

Had the 9400GT for my first ever "games" pc 😅 Surprising how much it can run games at quite a nice setting but at lower resolutions. But I "grew up" - 🤭😝 - with the PS1, and still don't mind playing on it every so often, so I'm not a snob in regards to having the best resolutions. Remember your routes, appreciate them, and you won't be as fussy 😉

i have a suggestion start a gta online serie like minecraft and whenever you test a gpu go to the diamond casino wich is really intensive love your work :)

I used to play on 1080p. Games lagged but I couldn't feel them back then. Worst performing game was gta 4 with 25-27 fps average. Other games like FEAR,FEAR2&3 ran well. I used a core 2 quad along with this. Eventually, I replaced this card with GTX 460 after 3 years

god damn... this is my first graphic card when I was in junior high... my dad said he will buy me a gaming graphic card if I rank #1 in school. I did and he bought me this. and I play assassins creed 1 with it... with ~15 fps I think, every time I walk to a destination I just look at the ground to boost fps... my friend come to my house and shit talking the vga xD he knows pc more than me... then he sold me his 8600gt and that was a bliss back in the day... what a nostalgia...
It's similar in performance to the Radeon HD 5450 just without DirectX11 isn't it? Funny how many cards exist in that performance range. At least it's fun (and cheap) to test them out!
I have the same GPU in an old PC, and the NVIDIA Control panel labels it as DirectX 11, also the contr panel copyright states 2021. Not sure if it actually runs DirectX 11 or the control panel just is bugged tho lol

It was barely faster than this thing (a bit I guess as it had double the cuda cores, but it clearly wasn't exceptional). To this day I still wonder how on earth I played through that entire game with 15 fps on average...
"How can you guys play like this" well we were born into low fps and we are used to 20fps or lower, I remember playing sonic generation at like 13 fps and still have pretty good time playing it at very low fps.

Well, I have one of those with 4g of RAM and a Pentium G2030 (3ghz), I play FiveM with low settings and some horrible resolutions, it's playable but it's not a good experience, obviously it's a 2008 card, but I think it does a good work.

9500 GT has 32 cores which is double of this, so it should perform much better than this. You will be able to play Rust at 144p, maybe :)
