- The Forbidden Reach was once fashioned by Neltharion the Earth-Warder himself to be the secret training grounds of the black dragonflight and of its would-be ultimate soldiers. The Reach has since descended into a broken and deserted landscape, lost to the ravages of time. Those few dragons who remember the island know that it is taboo to visit, a place where something dreadful fell. Those who have braved the shores found little of consequence in this cauldron-like caldera apart from a shattered landscape and nature-claimed ruins half buried by magma. Deep beneath the surface, vast underground chambers contain legions of dracthyr, resting in magical stasis for thousands of years. In the aftermath of a terrible battle, the island has lain dormant and abandoned for ages until the return of an ancient enemy causes the dracthyr to stir.

I never got the chance to play wow for more than a few months per expansion, but the ambiance always pulls me back in, even if my time with the game is limited compared to some other people.
Best music in Dragonflight. So melancholy, yet so adventurous. I love any opportunity I get to go to the Forbidden Reach.

They really nailed it with these tracks. especially once the flutes start at 0:45 and on. I get chills everytime I hear it. It adds to the mystery of this zone we only see briefly. An entire mysterious island lost to time holding the strongest army on Azeroth trained by Deathwing deep beneath it. And yet there is still a lot left to discover there once we go back in the next patch.

I ugly cried for a very long time when I first heard Forbidden reach.Just opened a character screen to check out Dracthyr, and didnt think I would like them. But they are amazing tbh. And once I created one,logged,the music started - I lost my shit. It sounds so much like Legion. Im not gonna listen to more than first 5-6 minutes, I want to hear it in the game first, and I pray its good.

From 2:50 it sounds very similar to the old Warcraft III music
Made by the same composer who made a lot of the Warcraft 3 music, also the one who made the Warcraft 2 music.
Hah. In the "Forbidden Reach" track, early on I can hear you opening the skill book and then closing it a bit later. It's all good though, it's very soft and not at all an issue. Thank you for your work putting these together :D
All my videos have that sound, it's related to the banner that shows at 0:50 and hides at 1:00.

Is that Azsuna 2.0?....I expected much more than remake of Legion Zones
It's not. It's got more of a divinity original sin 2 vibe to it.
Dragonflight music getting to sound like it's heavy on WotLK for the music, not bad per se but also kinda lazy
Please dont say that🥲 many of us want to hear the true WoW sounds again,even if they reuse old music in the zones,it would make me immensely happy.
