As a life long gymnastics fan I have nothing but the utmost appreciation and admiration of Simone the person, Simone the gymnast, and Simone the athlete. However, I have to question whether it isn't an advantage for her to be taking medicines to calm her anxiety when nerves are probably the single most issue in whether or not a elite gymnast becomes a champion.
Absolutely an advantage. Just look at the proof of athletes I can name off the top of my head. Tiger woods Williams sisters Michel Phelps just the ones I've heard of. The fact that they are extremely dominant and just happen to be treated with adhd medicine seems to be a little to much of a concedence.
