Lovely Ep and spots, Finally its open, 12 months or so ago we looked it up not a word 3 to 4 hour drive out to do the road it was shut, FFS so peeved off,
I feel your pain, there is nothing worse than discovering the track you want to do is closed, or worse a locked gate half way along the track. thanks for the kinds words, Cheers Gav
A couple of questions: Did you have to drop the tyre pressure and how much? Do we have to engage any 4WD gears in the crossings? I just got my 4WD , never done any off-road driving, and planning to do your route. Thank you for the video.
G'day mate, welcome to the 4WD community. I would recommend dropping the tyre pressure down to about 30 PSI, this should smooth out any bumps and make the crossings a little less rough and lock in the hubs in 4H. The water depth was pretty low when I did the crossings so please check them before you cross, don't be afraid to walk them or watch someone else cross them to get an idea of how deep they are, especially after all the rain we've had. The track is a really good track for first timers. Enjoy and let know how you went. Cheers Gav
Good video Gav 👍🏿
Thanks mate
Thanks Gav for proving Cain wrong. For the last 2 years he has told me we can take our van on this track. Thank you for proving my point.
Haha sorry Cain, Honestly though, with your set up, you could take your van down the track. Not saying you should but you could!
@@notlosthonesthaha don’t encourage him!!

It’s a great spot just would have liked more camping options.
