  • The Grand Final of Hilton Flavour & Flair EMEA 2022: Venture Beyond took place in Barcelona on Thursday 3rd November. 🌟
    The focus was on building a team and blending expertise across five key categories - #mixology, #culinary, #pastry, #sommelier and #barista, showcasing every facet of food and drink, to tell a complete story. 📖
    Over the course of eleven months, 94 exceptional entrants were whittled down to four brilliant finalists who battled it MasterChef-style in an all- action live final. 🔥
    ‪@hilton‬ EMEA’s 'quest for the best’ came to a breath-taking crescendo in front of an all-star cast of judges, including TV wine expert Helen McGin and Michelin Star Catalan Chef Albert Raurich, of El Bulli fame. 👨🏼‍🍳
    The competition was fierce and the creativity world class as the finalists pitched their one-of-a-kind food and drink dining experience, over the course of the entire day. Composed of a 3-course pairing menu, the teams were judged on creativity, presentation, appearance, culinary techniques and execution, texture, taste and flavour, as well as the quality of their vegan alternative. 🍽
    Not only were the finalists expected to work together as a team, but they were also judged on their approach to seasonality, zero waste, regional market relevance, the commerciality of their offer and crucially their story telling. 🌱
    After lengthy deliberation during which there was heated debate, the judges came to their decision and Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona was crowned the winning team. 👑
