I recently bought this and was truly amazed. That tiny thing sounds awesome with my noise cancelling headset. Small,light, do not irritate anybody around.

Love your channel and videos!! I have one thing to add to this video. You also have 3 variations of the delay,chorus, and reverb effects. By holding down the fx button and then the power button at the same time you can scroll through the 3 variations of each. You will hear 1 to 3 beeps to let you know which variation you have selected. Keep up the great work!!!

Sounds better through headphones or a bigger amp I have the metal version it's awsome for traveling and going to the music store to check out a guitar in silence

I just got one of these at guitar center. Would be able to use this in an amp to make it sound like an ac30, use this as an amp head, or maybe in an effects loop to make a bigger amp sound like a vox!? These are definitely pretty cool!

That red button looks the business! Is it a blow switch? The delay sounds surprisingly good on that thing.

Those are handy for when you are traveling. The Vox AC 30 amPlug 2 is probably better than my super inexpensive Monoprice unit that doesn’t have the extra effects.

Do they account for the effect of the speaker? Because plugging in headphones into an amp doesnt sound near good.

Sounds pretty good, I must say. I wonder what it'd sound like into the effects return of a bigger amp? Guitar > Amplug > Amp FX return (so bypassing the preamp and just using the power section). Have a good holiday!

I wouldn’t use the FX on this unit, it’s pretty limited. I’ve tried speaker out to PA speaker and it sounds fantastic. Actually surprised how good it sounds compared to my two note torpedo cab!!
I noticed you have that plugged into that blackstar with a 3.5mm Jack. Can you buy a 3.5mm to 1/4" converter and play through a regular sized amp as well?
if the amp has an Aux in then yes. otherwise no
Maybe do a comparison video between all the best travelling rig? the little Vox thing, iRig, The Fly3.....

it's pretty versatile. use it for rock, blues, jazz, classic rock. it can be really clean and get a good amount of dirt too

Lando27Music i would the same sound but for "home use".. do you think the Ac 15 C2 is good for me? I'm beginner but i love a good clean sound, and i think when you have a good clean tube amp.. it's the same good for rock & metal too.. i like playing the Ennio Morricone songs, but the Black Sabbath, Maidens, ac/dc and all rock & heavy metal songs of the 70's and 80's years! ❤️
An AC15 (single and dual speaker) is really loud. They can be good for home and gigging. Just depends how loud you are aloud to play in your place. :)

Can I plug this into mic port on laptop / steam deck? My guitar is working if im plug into line in port, not like mic port, but my laptop and deck have only one port that can used for mic or headphone, but not for guitar.

Good job on the sound quality of these little headphone amps however, the construction really needs some work..specifically the jack itself...I have had four of these (classic rock) in the last two years and all of them (after 6 mo. or so) come loose right at the jack. I have tried to have them repaired but to no avail. When the price for them was $20.00 to $25.00 I didn't mind so much replacing them...but now they are $50.00 bucks or so with tax. If this amp had a rechargeable battery and maybe a better, stronger jack/housing this would be everyones go to amp for arm chair guitarists IMO. Alas I don't see VOX changing this flaw as it probably generates too much profit as is. Looks like I will have to find another similar amp for less.

Rick Foxx I use a 1/4 female to female extender. Then you can use a standard guitar lead, and keep the unit on your desktop, and not hanging off the guitar. I know it's not as practical, but you benefit from easier use of the controls. 👍

you can use any kind. whatever you prefer. I usually just use a cheap set of earbuds

I use mine with a pair of fairly basic AKG over ear headphones. Classic rock and Blues version sound great.

I’ve never timed it, but they last a long time. I don’t recall changing mine yet.

I have purchased easily 6 of the other manufacturers some twice and each and I've had to return each one. I think that they are all made in China at the very same place and all have the very same defect, a faulty imput jack. If you plug it in all the way you get no sound. Only by pulling it out about 1/16th does it work. It's impossible to get it to stay there.
All I can say is thank goodness for Amazon's return policy.
I guess that's what happens when you choose the cheap models. The thing is, they are amazing when they work.
So,let's hope that Vox has much better quality control.

Nobody actually knows that there are 9 effects and not 3? Ifyou are in dely, and you push the on/off and the effects button, you get another delay, etc.

maybe it is the mic that you use, any effects you play, it sounds like you are playing from inside a well, it is not lively. if you compare the bgm that you played initially you could feel the difference.

I’d rather have replaceable batteries so it’s ready to go, nothing worse than finding out that it isn’t charged when you need to use it. AAA batteries are easily available.

I bought one and the cheap little thing wouldn't even power up. Even after I put new batteries in it. I am taking it back to Guitar Center tomorrow and asking for a refund. I DON'T WANT A REPLACEMENT BECAUSE THIS IS A POS.
