Get one of these Amplugs, a small scale guitar (I have a Jackson Minion)
and run it through your car stereo Aux In.

@@kricke243 yes but it does sound a bit cold and kind of trebley at the same time. to be honest it gets hacked to load irs and that is cool.
however the mustang micro has advantages...it can output the whole sound to rec with so that means the backing track as well. it sounds kind of better even in hi gain and it doesn't require an app. loke ever. it also has better time effects. and a better headphone amp section with a master volume. It is a lot more basic but will you ever gig a nux mighty plug? you can hack it to be controlled by foot switching lol, the nux is a small pedalboard with presets. but as far as result and as a headphone amp it comes last even after the vox if you consider price.

Just as usual, connect your guitar to your Amplug and instead of headphones - connect a 3.5mm/6,3mm Jack - Jack cable to the headphones OUT socket (you can use a reduction (6.3mm/3.5mm). Plug the other end of the cable into the inetraface. Just like on my channel movie "ARROWHEAD" (first 10 seconds of the movie ;)). Just be careful with the Volume levels - to be safe, turn down the VOX Amplug first and gradually turn it up to taste.
      Good luck \m/

Are you talking about the Fender Mustang Micro? How do you like as compared to various Vox amplugs? I was thinking about buying one but I'm on the fence. According to reverb it was the best selling amplifier of the year (the Fender Micro was).

I bought one a couple years ago, but also don't remember it chugging like this. I'm guessing I was using cheap $10 earbuds, with a poorly setup guitar that wouldn't stay in tune, so the volume was immediately too harsh and grating to use it at any decent levels. Just tried it because of this video with $50 headphones and it sounds better.
