So glad to see these. I work at a funeral home. I run the sound and computer equipment. Yes, the limo is for the family, pallbearers, and minister would all ride in the limo. We have done several services for babies. The last one I worked was for a 6 month old whose mother chose to go out drinking and ended up flipping the car and killing the baby. The directors had to piece the baby's head back together. It was a really rough service. my funeral home has a special show room for the caskets and urns. A lot of the caskets often are adorned on the inside of the casket with flags for veterans. Let me know if you have any questions. If I don't know the answer, I know some that can tell me.
Wow, what a sad story. God bless you for being able to do this, I, personally, have no stomach for these things (I told my husband after I watched, he's getting cremated!! Which I have made known for myself). Love your input, any further comments will be appreciated!
@Cheetoluv in some states, it's legal to go into the same drainage as your sink even. Most they are considered biohazard material and disposed of as such.
It would devastate me to know that my relative(s) were stuck in a box in an abandoned mortuary. Makes me sad and definitely pray for those soles tonight. Can't wait to see your new adventure
Great compilation! 🙌🏻 Just as men keep a can of old screws, nuts and bolts…women used to keep a collection of old buttons. At least they did back in the “old days”. I still have my grandma’s tin of buttons.
Hey so happy to see you, be happy be well, be safe, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY I ACCIDENTALLY FELL BROKE MY SPINE AND MY WRIST SOO MUCH PAIN I TRIPPED OVER POWER WASHING CORDS BUT WATCHING YOU BIG BANKZ HELPS ME ALOT SO LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOU, GOD BLESS YOU. In the south is is common for Funeral homes to transfer the family to the burial or services in a limo. When my sister passed away we all had a limo that took us to the burial grounds. The unclaimed remains is sad. Hopefully the new owners of this funeral home will reach out to their families.
great video, the last victorian was awesome. someone probably wanted the jar or tin that all those buttons and buckles were in and they just dumped them on the floor to take the container. nice job!
There is an excellent documentary that’s several years old but very interesting. About deaths of people in LA who die alone. Follows the entire process of trying to locate family and ID and have remains interred. A lot of bodies are not ever claimed or identified. They are cremated and put in a mass grave. Well worth watching.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the last one with all of the old 70s decore its my favourite i feel like i can see the people who use to be there moving around and actually using the space !!!!
The block of wood on the transport gurney is to hold the head and neck at the correct angle so they lay on the pillow in the casket like they are sleeping. It also helps with draining the head
Have you ever found any abandoned hospitals or nursing homes? That would be interesting as well. I know some people think of this strange and creepy but I’m intrigued by it all. I am one who always wants to know how everything works in a funeral home. Thanks for the video
I agree with you. You would probably like a guy named Adam Marks page. He explores abandoned buildings of all kinds and does paranormal in some of them. He posts a new video every Sunday and is very respectful with other people's belongings. Check him out.
Glad to see you doing well bro .. definitely love how you did this video felt like we got to know you more, like you one of the homies now lol can wait for the new content!
We have a local funeral parlor that operates from what was once an auto parts store. Can’t help but think of that every time I ride by. Interesting video.
I've just recently discovered your channel, and I think it is great. You exhibit all of the good aspects of an urban explorer--great job with the camera, thorough, respect, honest, non-destructive, etc.
Guys, the limo would be called "the family car" for those maybe too distraught to navigate traffic, I would say. I kind of wish you wouldn't say things like, " this one is big enough for me", BigBamks, we love you and hope you do NOT see the inside of one of those for at least 100 more years, LOL. Thank you for the tours. Take care and see you on the next explore.
I got very emotional when y’all went through the casket book because my granny had a rose gold casket 💔Also thanks for visiting my state ‼️Roll Tide ❤️
I love your explores. I've watched you from the beginning. You are kind person,. I pray what ever you sre going thru is getting better. The valleys are when we grow! God bless you.
Another awesome explore with sad feelings and it's sad the remains left behind, thats weird, The last funeral home was beautiful,it's a shame to see the vandalism. It's so good to hear you feel better know and you come to Germany, that's great. Thanks for another awesome video and greetings from Germany.
Love this video 👍 I am exited to see what you gonna explore. I hope you are doing well BigBankz. I can relate, losing a loved one. After a little bit more then a year i got the realisation and depression. But with therapy i am stronger then ever and look at life happy and positive again. I hope you will to 😘
$1695 is cheap for a casket nowadays. My dad passed in 2002 and my mom in 2009. They had the same funeral and my mom's cost almost double. I bet the costs are even more post-Covid.
My husband and I don’t have life insurance. I would store those caskets in our garage for later lol. I know what it cost six years ago to bury my father, my mom before that and it’s expensive but I don’t want to be burned.
I’d love to be an Urban Explorer!! You have such a phenomenal way of filming and your attention to detail is close to no other! For sure addicted to watching your adventures!
Hey, my dear friend, loved your videos as always. Keep your head up, Be careful, stay safe and well, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOU'RE FAMILY ALWAYS. SENDING YOU LOVE FROM SOUTH CAROLINA.
Enjoyed this format for something different. Was interesting as we could compare the four different places. The last one would be lovely all restored, the timber features, ceiling, the hanging lights, archways etc. That cat knew good real estate to move into, haha. Please be kind to yourself, we're not going anywhere. Enjoy Canada sojourn.
I live 1 house away from a cemetery and people always ask me does it scare me or bother me ...and I say no for the same reason a funeral home shouldn't scare people... if ghosts exist why would they hang out where their dead body is/was? It makes more sense they would hang out where they spent their life... (with that said the last funeral home might have haunted potential since they lived upstairs.) Another great video! Thank you! Also loving the nails they look awesome!
WOW BigBankz. I could never go to these places. And the girl said she saw a cat go upstairs. But there's no cat when you went upstairs. What gives ❓🤔🧐🤨 LOL WOW ‼️🤣😆😂😆😂😆🤣 LOL. Enjoy the rest of your day ‼️🙋🏽
I live in the south and drive an old Fleetwood hearse as a personal vehicle. Seeing these abandoned hearses just rotting away hurts my poor gothic soul
Yikes all I can say. I was involved in a motorcycle accident and died three times. They brought me back. If you can imagine just going to sleep that is what it feels like
Some people die alone, with no surviving family. What concerns me more is lack of proper disposal of embalming fluids, the older ones were carcinogenic.
Big Banks and Explore watch you both. Listen death is a part of life. It breaks 💔 your heart into pieces. People always talk about being broken hearted. I say until someone you love is moved on to the after Life. Only then will you really know what broken 💔 heart really means. Yet it's life.
I was hoping you'd be showing the actual buildings. There are a lot of funeral homes that are actually in big, old beautiful houses. A lot are in big, old queen Anne Victorians.
That tool isn't for pulling teeth but to tighten wires used for closing mouths for showing. That casket could have been used for showing bigger person before a cremation or eco burial and perhaps reused so the lining was ripped. I don't think the cremated remains should just remain there in boxes, authorities should be notified. Remains arent decaying of course, but its a matter of respect really.
Did anyone else notice the ORB??!!?? At 31 minutes, 38 seconds, it's clear as day. He is checking out that old casket, then turns the camera towards the chairs and states "and the entire viewing room itself." About 2 seconds after the ORB flies right in front of the camera!!!! That was not dust!!! I know the difference and dust does not move like that! 💫💫💫
I seen that your 100% right it flew right towards the camera from left corner.. definately not dust someone needs to do a ghost investigation in this place.
That light blue casket is used for cremation, usually for a viewing 1st. Sometimes families purchase the more expensive casket but they don't burn those, usually it's the blue ones or just a cardboard box. Luxurious ones are for burial.
I had a friend in high school in Wisconsin who's family home was the funeral home. They had the funeral home with the embalming and caskets in the basement and the family lived on the upper two stories. It freaked me out and I never went inside. I can't imagine having your bedroom above where dead bodies are stored. Eeeks.
OK, I am inspired, when it comes to the perfect vehicle for turning into a car camper, I’m thinking it’s a hearse. Maybe I need to start looking for a hearse instead of a big SUV to turn into a camper. Ha ha!
The wooden things that you asked on the table for the deceased to rest their head on so that their heads up, Thank you for taking us on your journey very interesting I hope you’re doing well and I appreciate your videos thank you

I have a question? Does the body fluids, bloods go into the sewer system? Or do the have a tank it goes into?

Hey that big Cadillac you're looking at with the free doors. That's usually for the pallbearers. They carry the casket to the grave site.
This was an excellent exploration!! Another great upload bankz!
Have you ever thought about maybe contacting the family and letting them know you found abandoned remains of their loved ones?

The block of ‘wood’ on the embalming table is for the head to ‘rest’ while they do their work….😏
I love abandoned funeral homes. This was an awesome video. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely, so do I! I'd definitely love to be able to do what there doing.

The "toilets" for disposing of fluids are called hoppers.
Caskets are very expensive , those must have been there for a long time your average funeral now is $12.000
In uk it’s around 15 thousand plus
