The idea is that the ads will be spread out enough to compensate the authors for their hard work and also so they are not too annoying for the readers. There needs to be a balance so the authors are happy and the readers too 🐥

What if people just spam pages??

No need to worry about page spamming Oscar we have thought and fixed that problem 🙂. I can't do into too much detail but pretty much there are eligible and ineligible pages when a reader reads. It takes time to read so pages read by a person are noted as eligible for ads and the author is paid for those pages. If a page is skimmed through for spamming or even just to get to the page they need those are noted as ineligible and do not pay authors for users who do that. Hope that helps 😁
