Thank you :) Maybe, for a new comer to this biking segment , all three bikes will be appealing. The Honda CD 350RS doesn't try to look retro and also the brand name probably has a bit more of a pull. Jawa is trying hard to pull fresher newer contemporary (younger) customer with the FJ and it certainly cuts it out with modern classics - so it might be appealing for those looking to own a slice of the Jawa name on a properly modern bike. The Mavrick I feel is really the maverick. Its aesthetically not pleasing but it handles SOOOO much better than the Harley (agility) but it has this long stroke chilled out engine which completes an amalgamation of a motley set of characteristics.
Really good review. Covered the key points that matter to a rider. Esp the points about linear engine with good tractability and having an edge with a solid mid range punch
What proper ride review it is. Kudos to you man 🫡 just a small question like how is heating management this time. As you said fan is on all the time so do engine heats too much ??
Yeah the fan coming on earlier than expected and being ON for longer was a bit different to what I have seen on previous JAWA's. I was told by the service staff that there is a small change in the cooling system hardware and fan control , from the previous gen JAWA's I had tested - no deeper details provided. But my observation was that although the fan was in operation earlier and for longer, there was no perceptible heating - it was very nicely controlled almost like a normal oil/air cooled engine. No heating issues even after pushing it for a while.
Damn .. A very nice review. Subscribed ✌️ Btw bro.. Help me a little.. The price difference between this and speed 400 is close to 40k. So looking at the triumph, it is the value for money option. But then again looks matter. And the jawa is damn good looking.. So which would you suggest Considering all factors - Service intervals & quality of service City and (occasional) highway performance Engine refinement. I am not bringing features over here as Triumph has everything and Jawa has none excluding std abs.. 😅
@@avirupbanerjee3874 thank you :) If you have the budget the triumph is a no brainer...i would go for it ! Jawa Yezdi have improved leaps and bounds but they are still competing in the 300cc market. (BSA too new). In that way the new jawa as a product and CLPL as service are yet to catchup to the next level. They need another product to fill in the 300-650 gap to effectively take on the competition.
@bikertalkiesKA05 Ya Triumph pretty much is the logical choice.. Wish Jawa had just given some thought to add some additional features and improve their after sales service. But that look of the 42 FJ is way ahead of the Triumph. Just that the speed 400 looks like a bigger TVS Ronin (no offence) . Thanks for the advice. ✌🏽
Thank you :) At this point of time, this JAWA is a better package than the Roadster. The Roadster still feels more raw and not as refined as this JAWA and all the other points mentioned on the video are in favour of JAWA. But CLPL might update the Roadster also with many of these updates (if not so already) So you might ultimately decide on aspects of design, ergonomics, ground clearance etc.
@@joypanchal5753 definitely. Since it's a well balanced bike it won't feel too heavy ; seat height is good - you can flat feet easily. It has a very driveable engine so all in all a very approachable bike.
@@vikkisa9249 The t4 still makes more power, torque. It is going to be quicker everywhere and will likely handle better. Everything on it will be a bit better and so unless you are absolutely smitten by the jawa or have some other considerations, if budget is not a limitation you should get a T4 .
@@jawaharize it's not as refined as a Honda but the rough clattering noises are not there anymore. Progressively these engines have become very likeable and smooth. Not harsh like previous years
Both have big road presence. The Meteor appears low slung typical bruiser cruiser types - and at least the rider feels quite deeply sit "into" it. The JAWA feels like you are perched higher - like on a horse :) and sitting "on it" but that gives you a commanding view and feel.
Jawa 42fj vs RE classic 350 vs Triumph speed T4 which one should i purchase...i am very confused now....jawa 42fj looks great but again jawa has issues with service... please help me in deciding
The t4 model (downrated triumph 400) is also a good consideration The jawa and triumphs are bit lighter and lot more powerful than RE. They handle better and offer more contemporary performance. The RE classic will be for you if you like old school slow speed puttering and the jawa for best of both worlds and triumph for a thoroughly modern Neo classic. In terms of service RE and triumph/Bajaj have a better record than jawa though I don't feel this will be a main issue
Bro many owners complaints of heating issue on toes & mileage eeh big issue its almost give 25-27 on hard acceleration & quick trotle push & wen u drive normally wit constant speeds it give 29-30 max mileage
