lol it just has that "radio shack" sound. no getting around it! I remember them radio shack stores, and just listening to the audio from this mic brings me right back to the store vibes. - first mic was a radio shack one and i had a mixer (around age 8). I've been buying gear since then! (expensive hobby situation;) )
Even on my laptop speakers (was to lazy to get mi headphones) But it could definitely do with a little 800 cut is a wide Q. And maybe a little 10KHz shelf. But all together not too bad.
Something to try with these cheap mics that come with those XLR-to-jack cables.. plug the jack into the HiZ/guitar input on your audio interface and see if the sound improves... reason being many of these mics are completely different impedance to a more "pro" mic like a 58 or sm7.

33-3002 was my first microphone. (which sounds so much better) This has such an omni mid range sound to it.
Made me want some carrot cake.

Remember that last $21 dollar usb mic.... LOL Looking better and better all the time...

I plug them in both ways before doing a video. I did however completely forget on this one. A short is in order maybe
If you have a cold it will make you sound more congested
It's nasal - not as bad as some, but bad enough. Check your email, Bark.
I responded sir
@@ObscureMics I see that. Curses! Foiled again!
It reminds me that the demise of Radio Shack wasn't such a loss after all.
I must disagree. I miss the place every day. But certainly not for their Neumann-rivaling microphone selection.
lol true that
@ScottGrammer lol
I think you called it when you said it sounds like college radio
Score!
Yikes. Not a fan of this one. Agree with MEI that it sounds omni somehow.
