Yo... I'm not going to lie. The new honda looks pretty legit. Thought they could've done better on the front end. Alot of folks are upset about the 2.0 being gone too but I don't think it's a big deal.

To not think them taking away the 2.0T is a big deal, means you aren't on the enthusiast side. There are 3 types of buyers. Low price, hybrid/ev, and enthusiasts. You would be labeled as a low price buyer, so losing the 2.0T woulden't affect you. You have been driving a 150hp 1.5l non turbo. No one would expect you to care. They are sending the enthusiast looking to acura

Is there an update for your other CarPlay box it doesn’t work on the 2023 Honda accord??
Once you unplug it, will it have any effect on the car’s normal screen functions/actions? or its only “active” when its actually plugged in?
Do the steering wheel controls still operate? Does the voice button still work Google Assistant/siri? Do the skip button still skip tracks that are playing? I'm asking for both the tablet mode that you're showing here and also the Android auto / carplay mode. I had one of these before and returned it because it just didn't interact with the Honda controls and also didn't interact with my phone the way I wanted it to. Like if I was watching a UA-cam video and my phone rang it wouldn't switch over so I can take the call through Bluetooth. While I was driving I wouldn't receive notifications or be able to send a text message through the assistant
I do know that the volume button works from steeering wheel so I assume the buttons will work, I did receive phone calls via Bluetooth while using this device and worked great!
You can also use this device as a wireless CarPlay/android auto feature. 🫠👌🏼 you can also switch over the phone to your phone for more privacy just by hitting the speaker button on the phone and hitting iPhone or whatever phone you may be using

Correct, you can use your phone as a hotspot (uses your data) or you can have a separate hotspot on the car for everyone to use. Many people have it now a days. Verizon/t-mobile I see a lot.
