But Naruto in the last arc did nothing but deny the circle of reincarnation and make up with Sasuke, despite their "fate" being to fight to the death. And if you're talking about the frog's prophecy, it was changed twice in one arc, so it's not really a set-in-stone fate marker.
Bratanov I think that was Kishimoto's intention but he didn't convey that well Considering the frog's prophecy was never for them to "fight to the death" but it was more "you'll fight somebody with op eye abilities" Like nothing Naruto did necessarily "went against fate" considering the exact same thing happened in one Hashirsma and Madaras battle where they just kissed and madeup and ruled over the village for a while.
By "fight to the death" part I meant the reincarnation of Indra and Ashura part, not the frog's prophecy. The frog's prophecy changed when 1)Jiraya made a choice to send Naruto the message before his death, and 2)When Naruto chose to convince Nagato instead of beating him, after which the frog said that he didn't expect there to be two "children of prophecy". And your example with Hashirama and Madara doesn't make a lot of sense, since they eventually DID fight to the death, fulfilling the prophecy. It was never stated that their first fight would be the one.
@Lionard Kirsch I still think his death was pointless because they're probably hundreds of different ways a writer could have set them up. The story just used the easiest and most dramatic way. Neji died for drama although I have to admit I liked seeing his goofy ghost.
@Lionard Kirsch true but I still like that hospital scene. Having no regrets despite what happen makes Gai the biggest badass in Naruto. But if it was only his leg that was busted couldn't the doctors just amputate the leg and just give him a new one like how Naruto got a new arm?
@UCPqVBnv3A-pdxzpwaHX67xw Neji should have died protecting Lee. Both of them would have sacrificed themselves for the other but Neji was quicker at the draw symbolically winning their rivalry. Also kill off Ino cause I don't care about her don't care about her son and mind control wouldn't help her in the war. I would say Sakura but the series would try to make you feel sorry that she died and I don't want her to get anymore screen time so she can just disappear.
The major problem with writing like this is that the creators misunderstand the difference between ambition and motivation. Naturo is extremely ambitious. He puts so much energy into impressing other people. But he lacks any motivation to actually do anything.
Not really. The standard Rinnegan does give some pretty powerful abilities, which could be why only 2 people were shown to unlock it as opposed to being given someone else's eyes, however it's not as if it makes someone omnipotent for example.
Telekinesis, soul steal, summoning, healing, energy absorption, telekinesis, and the asura path basically gives you every other generic superpower if you use it creatively
@@eidolon1407 Well, the Deva path can more accurately be described as control of gravitational force (although the anime does take some liberties with this concept) and experienced Rinnegan users like Nagato have been shown to be able to fly using this path. The Ashura path can only do 2 things; create extra body parts ie arms, extra faces, etc. (to more closely resemble the Ashura of Hindu and Buddhist teachings) and use of traditional weaponry ie blades, explosives, lasers. The Rinnegan does give some generic super powers, invisibility is one such example, however most exist outside of the Ashura path.
Might Guy and Rock Lee are the most underrated characters in the whole series. I mean, look at how easy Rock Lee was able to kick Sasuke's ass. And then look at how Madara cheated, then still got his ass kicked by Might Guy. If it was not for Guy or Lee, i would've never watched Naruto, for real.
Except for the fact that Lee was almost 16 by the time of Chunnin exams and Sasuke was 13, Naruto was even younger than that. So your true underdog basically bullied some rookies by calling others gifted and putting himself at a pedestal, he was also about to use a forbidden technique on Sasuke to cripple him before the exam, good thing Guy stopped him, but I guess it's alright since Sasuke's fault was he was born in a powerful clan, so he deserves to get bullied by the "true" underdog.
@@monish2011 You made it sound like Sasuke didn't have any "faults" when he met Rock Lee at all. I do agree with you on one thing, Guy stopped Lee from using the forbidden Taijutsu. But, "bullied" Sasuke? Come on, gimme a break. When Sasuke has his full power, look at what he did? If Itachi did not show up and told him this and that, he would have bullied the Leaf Village as well. Just remember this, when Lee met Sasuke, Lee basically used only Taijutsu, whereas Naruto had Kurama within him(without even knowing how to use that power properly), and Sasuke had the Sharingan an can use it to copy a lot of moves. The main point of this video, is to point out how Sasuke and Naruto were so privilleged(Which is so true by the way) with all sorts of power and still got their asses kicked by Uchiha Madara. Lee only trained so freakin' hard to achieve his power. Naruto and Sasuke basically did nothing. They were gifted with a lot of shit from the very beginning. Mr.Naruto had Kurama sama to protect him, Mr.Sasuke had his own brother to protect him. What did Rock Lee have, in case he ran out of Chakra, huh? Might Guy? But Guy did not even have that much Chakra, so what are you trying to say? That Lee was also gifted and privilleged? Come on, that's not the fact of the entire series.

"Naruto is a hypocrite because he is a child of prophecy and reincarnation of Sage of 6 paths, Naruto lied about Destiny" --- Naruto, the show and the character, never once denied the existence of Destiny, as a matter of fact it was flat of out told that Destiny does exist, when Neji said one Destiny that everyone shares equally is Death, which is literally a fact which can't be countered, to which Naruto says, "If you don't like your Destiny, you hold the power to change it" Which quickly follows up by the match referee saying "he never lost his faith in himself and never stopped planning his next move, because he knows having faith in himself has the power to change one's Destiny" How does any of this translates to "DESTINY DOESN'T EXIST"??? Later if Destiny can be changed or not works well with the addition of Prophecy and reincarnation, I think it's a Genius move, first of alll, a misconception people have is prophecy and reincarnation are Destiny, they are not, Destiny does not include choices, Prophecy said Naruto could've brought peace or destruction, Naruto brought peace because he decided to be a good person when he all the reasons to turn bad, resent and hate the Village leaf for how he treated him, but he didn't Because he chose to see the good in people like Iruka who always believed in him, Reincarnation said Naruto could've revived the cycle of Destiny or end it, Unlike Ashura and Hashirama, who went to kill each other, Naruto holded back and brought peace by ending the cycle, not destruction. In both of these situations Naruto changed his Destiny for the good because he never lost faith in Sasuke and himself, which ties back to him telling Neji "Destiny can be changed" not "Destiny doesn't exist".

@ITS bullzie Exactly. Shippuden completely destroyed the message with poor writing. In part 1, power creep was low and jinchuriki, kekkai genkai weren't so op. While they were exclusive sources of power, having one wasnt a requirement to he great. With skill and strategy you could overcome 'empowered' individuals as seen with shikamaru fights, lees fights and even zabuza vs kakashi. In narutos case, kyuubi was a detriment as it was the reason for his poor chakra control. And with naruto being a child, him being the hokage to be acknowledged was believable. And then with haku and then with sasuke you see naruto starting to grow... end of part one was pretty good. The problem is part 2. You would think with narutos new found resolve he would have educated himself. He doesn't really learn. Then kishimoto made naruto a mary sue into having all these abilities and trainers. It would have been more compelling if naruto had to claw to power like kabuto. Naruto started out as an underdog, but he lost that title when kishimoto made him over powered
@@crazygamer4260 Naruto won the lottery. Like, five times. And he didn't even buy a ticket. The only time he had to work hard was when he was a sperm swimming to his mother's egg. And even then, you cant be sure.
Dream Chaser I disagree, he still had to work hard, despite all the gifts he got. He had poor chakra contril thanks to the fox, and he wasn't exactly the smartest. He got as far as he did thanks to help from the most important people of the ninja world. For me, what really invalidated all of that was the reincarnation bit, since that was what really made him destined to be great.
Naruto is full of plot-holes that condemned the show to me. Like, everyone during his childhood avoids him for being like the murderer monster itself but when he grows up no obe realizes he always had this power? God damn Kishimoto
All of the parents told their kids to stay away from him. Most, if not all, kids were never taught that he had the 9 tales. The 3rd Hokage made it illegal to talk about it.
@christiannoriega428 That never made sense to me. Hiruzen is such a moron. Didn't do anything about Danzos influence, did nothing to mend the rift with the Uchiha, allowed Orochimaru to leave and become a worse danger. He was such a bum.
@mixkid3362 I feel like that is a more complicated subject that doesn't have a lot of info. We don't really know what Hiruzen did to try to prevent those things. Those situations weren't fully explained. But I'm pretty sure it's not as easy as just firing Danzo. He probably has too much political power or something similar. Otherwise, Minato would have already gotten rid of him before he even died.
Naruto is easily one of the most absurd series i've watched. It never stays true to the ideas it's supposed to be representing. No other shonen to my knowledge has this problem.
To play a bit of devil's advocate here, his political connection to Tsunade seems to be 100% earned. He debated her, made a wager, then won that wager while simultaneously saving her life and helping her overcome her traumas. He also didn't use any dog power during this process except to gain a few extra hours of training time. The only inherent advantage I see here is that he was introduced by Jiraiya, but Tsunade didn't seem to be swayed very much by that fact. Overall, Naruto's political connection to Tsunade could have been fairly earned by absolutely anybody who was placed at the same dinner table as her.
@@ClashBluelight He always more or less had political connections to her though. When they first met she clearly stated that he looked as bad/dumb as Jaraia's last apprentice IE his father. The only reason he was sitting across from her at that table and with Jaraia in the first place was because he was a Hokage's son. So it comes full circle.
The problem with Naruto is that it proposes a hypothesis and then continues to prove that hypothesis wrong as the show progresses, but still seems to be under the illusion that it’s proving it right. Yes, hard work was necessary for Naruto to get where he did after a point, but he also couldn’t have done it without a hell of a lot of luck, prime genetics, and political connections he did not solely earn but gained by virtue of his parentage. It’s like when a millionaire’s child calls themself self-made when they only got where they were because they started with their parents’ money and connections. Yes, he did do far more with those things than others might have in his position, and he did suffer plenty in his childhood, but that does not mean his hypothesis and the hypothesis of the entire series was proven wrong through him. It reeks of nepo baby trying to justify how they earned their position by saying they had to work hard for it. Just because you worked hard, doesn’t mean you started on an even playing field with everyone else. You had privileges and advantages others could only dream of and you would not have made it to where you are without them unless you got incredibly, miraculously lucky. That’s the story of Natuto and it’s telling that he doesn’t realize this himself, but Sasuke and Neji have since day one. Naruto didn’t prove Neji wrong in their chunin exam fight, he proved himself wrong and made Neji’s point for him, all while believing he did the opposite. Big face-palm moment right there.
1. Neji talks about destiny and how everyone has a predetermined fate. Naruto disagrees with this and explains that destiny shouldn't be used as a crutch to be a jerk, like Neji is when attempting to murder Hinata or talking down to Naruto himself. 2. So was Neji right? Everyone seems to think so, but why? Is it because Naruto is the child of prophecy? Well, it was stated that the child of prophecy would either bring peace to the world OR destroy it. The simple fact that Naruto has both agency and a choice in the outcome already puts Neji's values on shaky ground. 3. BUT! You still disagree with me. Why? Because Naruto is the reincarnation of Ashura? Well, that's funny because, as Ashura's reincarnation, Naruto is destined to meet and battle with Indra's reincarnation, Sasuke. Now Ashura did hope that a future incarnation of himself could resolve things peacefully, but his intention doesn't matter as his actions contributed to a cycle that the Sage of Six Paths feared would continue when Sasuke wanted to have his final battle with Naruto. 4. DESTINY ITSELF, the concept Neji spoke about, ordained that Naruto(as Ashura's reincarnation) would do battle with Sasuke(Indra's reincarnation), and continue the cycle of hatred. This path where the two could potentially kill each other might have very well been the catalyst that pushed Naruto to fulfill the evil side of his prophecy in destroying the world(among other things), made even more evident with the treatment he received growing up as a Jinchuriki(that made him hate the world back for a time), and the antagonist that reflected his character(challenging his views, and in some cases, trying to make Naruto fall as low as they did).
1. "Hard work trumps talent" was the central theme for the chunin exams and the goal Lee aspires to 2. "Overcoming one's Hatred/Destiny to further understand one another" is the overarching theme of the series as well as something Naruto needed to do(its why he has the infamous "talk no jutsu") 3. Almost every arc in the series had its own theme to follow, but as stated above, the main theme of the series definitely isn't about hard work trumping talent(you would have a better argument for "hard work", but you all get SUPER specific that it NEEDS to trump talent) 4. If you thought the MC was going to follow what is essentially Lee's theme(who LOST against Gaara in the Chunin Exams) when he has the 9 Tails(that he used against Neji that same arc), then we will just have to agree to disagree.
😊 I totally disagree with his criticism of Naruto being lazy and a hypocrite. In fact, I believe that Naruto has put in a tremendous amount of effort within his capabilities. He seem to have forgotten that Naruto is an orphan who has been living on his own. Have he taken a look at his classmates? Do he think they are putting in more effort than Naruto? What motivates them to work hard? It's because they have parents and siblings to support them in practicing ninjutsu. Do he think Shikamaru invented the Shadow Possession Jutsu on his own? It was his father who guided him. In the show, it's shown that Sasuke's brother would practice shuriken techniques with him and even guided him in the Fireball Jutsu. Other classmates have family members teaching them ninjutsu, like Hinata and Neji training together in their family dojos. As for calling Naruto lazy and not striving to learn ninjutsu, can you imagine having to study on your own without anyone to encourage or guide you? It's a painful situation. I believe that growing up in a self-motivated and self-learned environment, Naruto has worked relatively hard. Imagine coming home to an empty house and having no one to help you with difficult math problems or no one to supervise your homework. your grades are bound to suffer. Considering Naruto's growth environment with no guidance or training from anyone, isn't it natural that his ninja skills and techniques would appear to be inferior to those of his classmates?. And don't forget, when he was learning the Rasengan, there wasn't a day when he was lazing around. There were times when he practiced until he collapsed in the forest and then woke up to continue training. Does that sound lazy to you? Furthermore, it's absurd to accuse him of being a hypocrite. Naruto has a strong moral compass. Apart from playing pranks, he hardly ever did anything wrong. He's essentially a good-hearted and kind young man. He's willing to sacrifice himself to protect his friends and the village. In simple terms, if you were in danger and asked for Naruto's help, he would definitely shed blood to save you. How does that make him a hypocrite? He'd only be a hypocrite " IF " he was saving people just for the cash or for the fame. I believe that Naruto act of saving his friends and the villagers is absolutely selfless and just doing the right thing , If you really insist on repaying him , maybe just treating him to a bowl of ramen would be more than enough...your evidence for calling him a hypocrite because you think he's lazy Additionally, you seem to criticize Naruto for relying on the Nine-Tails' power. What's wrong with that? As long as he uses it for good deeds, isn't that what matters? For instance, if he saves your life, would you really care if he used the Nine-Tails' power instead of his own abilities? As long as his actions are virtuous, who cares if he relies on the Nine-Tails?

You do realized that destiny still doesn't define everything right? The series even blatantly spells out that naruto and sasuke defied destiny by being the first time indra and ashura overcame thier conflict. It still shows that destiny can be defied.
@@Nunmanji Yeah, I get that, but that doesn't change everything else about the series on how destiny is the one thing that made everything happen in the series. Hard work, the main message of the series, is ultimately made pointless because destiny and natural talent wins out overall.

No way there's actual people like you. This comment had to be generated. Naruto is NOT ABOUT HARD WORK BEATS SKILL THIS IS EASILY SHOWN IN GARRA VS LEE. A FIGHT THAT LEE LOOSES. Naruto is way more about forgiveness and forging your own path. Just because Naruto was born with kurama and good levels of chakra means shit. It actually made it harder for Naruto to use his chakra hence why he was always bad at everything in the academy. Because he couldn't use his chakra properly. Don't even get me started about kurama. Kurama goal was to give Naruto so much chakra until the seal would break. For Naruto to master the nine tails beast power took hard work because kurama hated him. So we can sum up kurama was basically a opp in the some seasons of Naruto . And why do you think Naruto want to jiyara? To train his bijju chakra. And the fact that you stupid enough to call him ninja Jesus is so ed. Naruto being a reancarnate js means that his destiny is to kill Sasuke. It does not give him shit. Heck you can even say Naruto had it worse than lee WHICH HE DID. The gifts you receive don't mean anything all that matters is what you do with the gifts you have. Please please think before you make such a stupid comment
Naruto at the beginning: Hard work beats talent, nothing is pre-destined. Naruto at the end: Everything was pre-destined, Naruto is a demi-god and the reincarnation of the creator of the ninja world.

I just wanna point out how when Gaara broke Lee's leg and was ABOUT TO KILL HIM, only ONE jonin stepped up to stop the fight, said jonin being Lee's master who was essentially his adoptive dad or something and everyone else was just watching the kid get killed But when Neji "went overboard" in a fair fight agaisnt the white eyed little princess 5 MFING JONINS INMOBILIZED HIM like they were stopping the assasination of a president
I will never understand why Naruto never focused on taijutsu. He can make hundreds of himself. If he was even slightly good at hand to hand combat, no one would stand a chance against him.

So jiraiya, kakashi, and hiruzen all had a great relationship with Minato, but completley ignores his orphan son, it also baffles me how hiruzen says that he'll take care of naruto but all he did was put a roof over his head. Like at least put him in a orphan system or some shit. And jyria was so close to minato, he could've raised his son (who was named after a character in one of jyria's books) but no instead he was to busy "researching".
I agree with you, but kakashi or jiraiya taking care of naruto wouldnt make much sense in my opinion, it's out of character, especially for horny jiraiya. He's just a talented ninja who has little to no morals and is always drunk hahaha.
@@potxtoe Kakashi might would've done it and it not be out of character. Going off flashbacks, it's very weird that he didn't do it. It also makes no sense that no one told Naruto who his parents were. It's almost as if all that backstory was Asspull No Jutsu
I don’t think being in a orphanage would have been good for him. I mean, he was in one when he was a baby. But being in a place run by people who hate/despise you mustn’t have been great for him.
@@CassidyStarke Once all the backstory came out for Naruto, it didn't make *any* sense for people to hate him. It's not like Gaara whose mom died in childbirth and was constantly hurting people, because wasn't the son of a master of sealing techniques and is not of a powerful jinchuuriki host bloodline(Uzumaki can cling to live awhile after their beast is removed, but everyone else dies immediately). . @The Zoom nope, sasuke was jealous of how he defeated Gaara and saved Sakura, he even felt too much jealousy, its one of the reasons why he ledt the village. Naruto only was jealous of Sasuke because he was succesful and praised by everyone.
Minato: "If anything happens to me, look after my son..." Hiruzen: "I promise..." Naruto 12 years later, living orphaned on the street and being treated like garbage by pretty much everyone in the village while Hiruzen watches from his cozy mansion.

Leonardo A Yeah. I feel that the Rasengan and Chidori were mistakes in the long run. They just became go to problem solvers instead of the rare and difficult techniques they were built up as.
That really is a stupid plot point. "Since they got caught stealing a child from a major family in the Hidden Leaf, they demand the Leaf give them the guy who killed the assassin."

mostly what he said was wrong naruto was an underdog due to him being a dumb ass and having a hard time performing jutsu if im being technical and want to go deep when he was in the academy and titled as an (underdog) the 9 tail fox seal was not as weak as it was once team 7 was formed the seal got weaker through emotions and battles during shippuden they dropped the underdog theme once he received these power ups the theme sort of switched to never give up and follow his will in this video he made some pretty decent points but by the time naruto received sage and the reincarnation powers he was considered a hero already so he started sounded like a dumb ass

Another theme, like community > individualism, that they try to portray in naruto is also worthless. In the 4th war, all the nameless ninjas are just fodder for the main villain to destroy lol
The best character in Naruto is Might Guy. Everyone else learned how to shoot magic fireballs and shit and this guy only learned how to kick hard. Really hard. Hard enough to almost kill one of the strongest dudes in the series.
Unfortunately Tenten was absolutely irrelevant, so the 'hardwork > talent' theme of the series isn't well conveyed through the character. At least her design is cool, though.
It's even more than that, like Plague says, He's the reincarnation of a christ analog - fitting because even the fan base calls Nardo and Sauce "The super jesus brothers" after the ending of shippuden.
That's a good analysis,he does work hard though, much more than other side characters (except Lee maybe) so him earning the fruits of that is understandable.
@@DarkAuraLord You know how hard it is to he a christ figure? Try having no friends, and even though you're helping everyone, they still resent you. I always wondered how far the main house goes. We saw Hinata having a younger sister, so I thought maybe her children will become part of the side branch, while she as the daughter of the HEAD is save. "The head and his kids", however this was not the case with Neji's father who himself was still the son of the head. THEN we see that Neji's father was the brother of the HEIR, just like Hinata's sister is the sister of the HEIR. SO WHY THE FUCK was Neji's father a member of the side branch, too, AND Hinata's sister isn't? The actual HEAD of the house was still alive when Neji's father had the sign on his head, so don't tell me he only got this after his father died and his brother, Hinata's father became the head. That would actually make sense, but it would still make no sense why Hinata's father was wasting his time training his younger daughter if she would become a side branch member. That was so fucking confusing and I did not find anyone online asking the same question, some made up some weird answers, about the heir's third birthday or whatever. By that logic Hinata's sister should have the sign on her head SINCE birth, since Hinata was older than her. Some say it had something to do with them being twins. (?)That so many people didn't see the same glaring flaw in this scenario really made me scream "AM I THE LAST SANE PERSON ON EARTH???" This also shows how stupid it is to put the sign on all but one heir. What if Hinata's father died before he had Hinata? How would his brother become the next head? Neji was a baby, would he become the heir because he had not had a sign yet? And even in Hinata's case, where all children of the head seem to be main branch, what if all three of them died? Then Neji should be next in line, right? I think Neji's father himself said that Neji had more talent than anyone, but he could not become the heir. Now that is a typical problem in succession and it still does not explain why Hinata's sister is being trained like a main branch member when it was made clear that Hinata was still the heir. Also, shouldn't Hinata and her children now get the mark? EDIT. In another discussion I've come up with a possibility to make this work: The question is then when was she supposed to receive her mark, since Hinata was already older than her. It was the heir's 3rd birthday, not the side member's 4th birthday. If then, they should have made that decision before Hanabi turned 4. I have thought about how it was ALWAYS done on the 3rd birthday of the next heir. SO, does that mean Hanabi would have had her mark done one the 3rd birthday of Hinata's first child? Did EVERYONE who was born after the twin's 3rd birthday receive their mark at Hinata's birthday, like 30 years later? That would make some sense, but we only see Neji. Also, what about the toddlers and babies younger than the heir, who were already around? Do they get it that young? Do pregnant women hope their child is born late and had at least 20 more year to live in freedom? Maybe they really wait with everyone younger than 3 until the next heir. And while you might say, MAYBE only twins get the immediate treatment since they are basically the same, maybe they think with different siblings you can see who is better? Now consider that twins who are identical still can produce vastly different children (HINTHINTHINT) So, it should actually make sense to WAIT with twins, and maybe see how talented their kids are, or even who has the first. Ok that might be a race. Regardless, it still sucks so to speak, that no one thinks it should be fair to then put the mark on Hinata. This still seems like you can be markfree while not being the heir? Unless her father really was already giving up on the tradition but Neji and Naruto don't act like this. Neji still having a "grudge" would be fine, but I would like to have seen some conflict and turmoils. Did Hanabi during the exams, never know what is done to side members? Did she not know about her father's brother? Shouldn't she realise what might have happened to her? Or that she was only born because her father made such a decision? Is she afraid what might happen to her sister, now that she is the heir? And if she already knew during the fight in Shipuuden, they could have made some explanations, and say if Hanabi wins, Hinata is free until the next heir has its 3rd birthday. Or maybe they already think of skipping it with her. And Hanabi before the fight could have some doubts if she wants herself or her sister to be a slave. As should Hinata, it is not just about letting her win the title. Anyway, Hanabi was introduced as the preferred younger sibling, way before we hear about her and Neji's father being twins, right? They were described as distant cousins of a super large clan. I really think the writer just came up with that later, forgot about the problems Hanabi caused, which is why she isn't really discussed, AND THEN DIDN'T mention her for like 400 chapters. Still I think it could have worked with just a little thought. Either during the Neji fight, or much later in Shippuuden. Like I said, retcon Hanabi realising stuff about her father's brother, what that meant, etc., regardless if she knew about it during her fight with Hinata. I mean, if she realised there should have been much higher stakes this would also make a good scene. EVEN if that happens 400 chapters later.
This is so true, it is actually sad. Man i wish they had actual backstory for Tien and had a great story for Dragon Ball Super. I also wish they actually had a logical and a great story direction for Naruto.
I'd say Neji is Naruto's version of Tien. They were both antagonistic geniuses with exceptionally good vision who were forgotten as Sharingans/Saiyans took over.

Fate was Right
But Naruto in the last arc did nothing but deny the circle of reincarnation and make up with Sasuke, despite their "fate" being to fight to the death. And if you're talking about the frog's prophecy, it was changed twice in one arc, so it's not really a set-in-stone fate marker.
Bratanov I think that was Kishimoto's intention but he didn't convey that well
Considering the frog's prophecy was never for them to "fight to the death" but it was more "you'll fight somebody with op eye abilities"
Like nothing Naruto did necessarily "went against fate" considering the exact same thing happened in one Hashirsma and Madaras battle where they just kissed and madeup and ruled over the village for a while.

The Rinnegan is like when your friend said that his superpower was that he had ALL the superpowers
This but unironically LMFAO
Eric Cartman´s super power when they played Ninjas

If it was not for Guy or Lee, i would've never watched Naruto, for real.
Bruh it woulda been boring if it was a training hungry taijutsu user as the main protagonist. But to each is own I guess

You made it sound like Sasuke didn't have any "faults" when he met Rock Lee at all.

Kakashi's father would have literally become the 4th hokage had he not ended his life due to certain reasons .Heck he was an even more legendary ninja than the entire sannin .
@@hydrocy.9165 lmao no. Naruto was the reincarnation of jesus, had it much easier than the others, had a bad childhood so behaved like an irrational fool in battles, was the child of prophecy. I mean. It's more of a commentary of kishimoto's waning writing quality. The power creep was ridiculous by the end of the series
@ITS bullzie
Exactly.

"His political connections give him the best training money can buy." Holy shit.
It's facts though
At least it's realistic
To play a bit of devil's advocate here, his political connection to Tsunade seems to be 100% earned. He debated her, made a wager, then won that wager while simultaneously saving her life and helping her overcome her traumas. He also didn't use any dog power during this process except to gain a few extra hours of training time. The only inherent advantage I see here is that he was introduced by Jiraiya, but Tsunade didn't seem to be swayed very much by that fact. Overall, Naruto's political connection to Tsunade could have been fairly earned by absolutely anybody who was placed at the same dinner table as her.
i mean i dont remember him paying for it so the fact that he got it for free is an absolute steal
1. "Hard work trumps talent" was the central theme for the chunin exams and the goal Lee aspires to
2. "Overcoming one's Hatred/Destiny to further understand one another" is the overarching theme of the series as well as something Naruto needed to do(its why he has the infamous "talk no jutsu")
3. Almost every arc in the series had its own theme to follow, but as stated above, the main theme of the series definitely isn't about hard work trumping talent(you would have a better argument for "hard work", but you all get SUPER specific that it NEEDS to trump talent)
I believe that Naruto act of saving his friends and the villagers is absolutely selfless and just doing the right thing , If you really insist on repaying him , maybe just treating him to a bowl of ramen would be more than enough...your evidence for calling him a hypocrite because you think he's lazy
Additionally, you seem to criticize Naruto for relying on the Nine-Tails' power. What's wrong with that? As long as he uses it for good deeds, isn't that what matters? For instance, if he saves your life, would you really care if he used the Nine-Tails' power instead of his own abilities? As long as his actions are virtuous, who cares if he relies on the Nine-Tails?

It's even more than that, like Plague says, He's the reincarnation of a christ analog - fitting because even the fan base calls Nardo and Sauce "The super jesus brothers" after the ending of shippuden.
That's a good analysis,he does work hard though, much more than other side characters (except Lee maybe) so him earning the fruits of that is understandable.
@@DarkAuraLord You know how hard it is to he a christ figure? Try having no friends, and even though you're helping everyone, they still resent you. Neji was right about fate determining everything, no matter how much Naruto (both the character and the series) claimed otherwise. He just didn't know Naruto had the most ridiculous pedigree in the entire series
The biggest hypocrisy of the show is saying that destiny does not matter even though the main plot of the show revolves around a prophecy.
Exactly. At the end of the day, Neji was right. Lineage and fate beats effort and hard work.
(Spoilers)They did change destiny though naruto and ass munch both lived even though the prophecy said the reincarnations would be locked in a battle to the death forever so when they both lived at the end they did in fact change their destiny
You're wrong tho they did go against destiny because in the end naruto and sasuke did not kill each other and now work together

(?)That so many people didn't see the same glaring flaw in this scenario really made me scream "AM I THE LAST SANE PERSON ON EARTH???"
This also shows how stupid it is to put the sign on all but one heir.
High key the leaf village sucks. Even I agree with suksuk leaving

Thanks for explaining. Here’s my rebuttal.
1.) “THE REINCARNATION OF ASURA”
Asura’s plan/destiny for his reincarnations was to battle Indra and end the feud between them.
*Naruto fulfilled that destiny*
2.) “CHILD OF TWO PROPHECIES….2?”
a. Like I said in the first point, the first prophecy/destiny would be that Naruto would fight Indra(Sasuke) again.
*Naruto fulfilled that destiny*
b. The second prophecy/destiny was the one from the Great Toad Sage saying that Naruto would bring a great revolution to the ninja world.
*Naruto fulfilled that destiny*
3.) “SON OF THE 4TH””HOST OF THE 9”
Minato gave half of Kurama to his son, Naruto. Being the host of Kurama granted Naruto unbelievable amounts of chakra and power that came in handy numerous times. Including in his fights against Haku, Gaara, Sasuke, etc. And those instances where before Naruto even gained control over Kurama.

@@sparker7647nah he’s right abt themes involving hard work. He didn’t talk about the other themes so he’s not wrong.
@@danieljoseph30131.
4. If you thought the MC was going to follow what is essentially Lee's theme(who LOST against Gaara in the Chunin Exams) when he has the 9 Tails(that he used against Neji that same arc), then we will just have to agree to disagree
