    Hey Babes! I know some of us are guilty of these relaxer don'ts lol. I know I am! Which habits are you ridding and which tips will you be implementing in your relaxed hair journey? Let’s chat! xoxo

    I relaxed my hair!! 😮😮 After being natural 10 years I was ready for a change. And can I say....I LOVE my relaxed hair! ❤️❤️ I’m learning so much about it, it’s actually fun. Wash day doesn’t feel like a chore nor is it an all day process anymore. Your videos have both inspired me and helped me take care of my hair on this amazing new journey 🤗🤗🥰🥰

      Yasss girl I relaxed my hair after 3 years and it’s way more manageable

      How long have you all had the relaxer? I’m just curious to people experienced after 6+ months. Really thinking about this, I’m scared because I have low porosity+density hair

    • @luckyducky224
      @luckyducky224 4 роки тому +1

      @@kay-ty5rx I'm only a week in so I don't have good feedback yet but I have medium to low density hair, however, my hair has high porosity and it is very fine. So far, the benefits I have noticed is that my hair is quicker/easier to detangle (which helps alot since I was constantly breaking it). I can style and moisturize it more easily and can "baby" my hair better. Since it would shrink significantly, I was constant yanking on it to take care of it and style it and when I would get impatient....I'd rip through my hair😣.
      I haven't noticed any cons yet but happy to share in the future if you are still on the fence and looking for feedback.

    • @kay-ty5rx
      @kay-ty5rx 4 роки тому +2

      luckyducky224 omg wow, I also get so impatient and yank through it, it’s barley touching my shoulders so idk what I’d do if it gets any longer. I’m thinking about relaxing a 2 inch section of my hair to see how it’ll behave. I’m so ready to baby my hair thanks so much 🙏🏽 💜

    We appreciate you too! I do agree with everything you said about moisture and taking care of our precious strands...I find myself in summer months taking moisture in a small container in my purse because even though you moisturize at night during the summer your hair get dry when u go outside because of the humidity! Lol..So once I arrive to my destination I apply some light weigh non greasy moisture to my wavy, curly hair! Thank u once again..with your help we can figure this hair thing our together one week at a time! Very Informative video once again!

Every week we get just a little bit closer to our goals, together! I’m so happy we have each other on this journey! I appreciate you as always ❤️❤️

    Thanks so much ! I plan to implement them in my relax hair journey . I never let my hair get dry . I’ve never tried protein treatments, I’m willing to implement protein . I’ve been relaxed since ,I was fourteen . I use a lot of leave in conditioner that come in hair masks . I need to moisturize more at night I rarely moisturize at night . I just noticed these past days my hair has been really shiny . I’ll try elasticity.

    This is great.Thanks for the tips.
    One thing though, Heat.
    Is it really THAT essential?
    I ask because it's too expensive for me to get a steamer or hooded dryer right now so I'm dependant on body heat to do my deep conditioning. So I'll keep the conditioner in for 45 mins to 1hr as I keep active to generate body heat or sit out in the sun.
    Is that method really ineffective?

    • @CharleyCharlez
      @CharleyCharlez 4 роки тому +2

      In my experience using heat has been a game changer. I use a bonnet hooded dryer attachment...the kind that you attach to your regular hair dryer and works great. They're cheap too so no need to invest in a proper hooded dryer 😊

    These are some really great, practical tips. My hair is in braids right now, so I'm 100% guilty of skipping on the moisture. I needed that reminder. I always love your style, but those earrings 😍 Where did you get them, if you don't mind sharing?
