I'm a big Govee fan. I have 11 various Govee lights and a 12th on the way. My home is always complimented on how warm it looks because of the LED lighting throughout. I hardly ever use the regular house lights. Your room looks much better.
Thank you for sharing your experience! Im right there with you, haven't turned on the regular light since the install. Govee products are just something else and how well the compliment the others.
@@MIKE-yq1co "hotspots" meaning that the diffuser channels in this video don't work all that well at what they're designed for; diffusing. The idea is to have a spotless look, almost like a strip of neon. with these channels, you can still see the individual LEDs.
Nice work man! Great video! Keep up the good work! When you cut the strip, the app recognize it correctly after that? I just bought it from Govee yesterday and i wonder if i have to cut it.
You can cut it without any problems. Only thing is with segment support, the last segment you cut just goes unresponsive in the app, the rest works perfectly fine. Hope that helps. Thank you so much for your support and goodluck with the setup!
In my experience, you cant turn segments off completely, but you can turn relative brightness all the way down to have some parts more lit than others. Hope that helps!
Whites are as good as you can expect, bright and uniform. Higher density strips would be nice but they're far too expensive. Another alternative tho are COB LED strips, they lack the customization options but they're much cheaper
Looks amazing!!

@@MrTechSpective thank for your time to answer. One last question. Can you turn off segments of the strip in the app?

Any affiliate link to your diffusers? Thanks.
Ive added all product links in the description and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks.
Unfortunately, I need more led density. How are the whites?
