Dude. These videos give me so many ideas. Especially on how to attack a project, or section, or if I'm in a rut. These videos really are educational/insightful. Look I know I'm a dude.....but......will you have my baby? It's 2020. Anything is possible. (wink wink)
Loved the song for the most part. I felt like the bridge needed something heavier over that blast beat and the solo could have been more melodic and power metally. Still always enjoy hearing the creations you come up with. The verses and choruses on this were awesome though!
Great song! Love it! I winder every time how you make it work 🤔. Additionally I have a question: Can you please let us know why you always record on the same track and then move the recording to another track? How do you came up with the solution? What's the motivation behind? Does it make you more productive? Looking forward to your response 😸
Feels like the lyrics were also randomly generated combining every power metal song ever made xD Jokes aside amazing work and brilliant collab! You just gained loyal follower. Thank you.
Imagine being able to just throw something together like that, and it's objectively better than 90% of what is released by actual labels. Even if it took 4 hours or 8 hours to actually put that together it's still super impressive to me. Brittney was either holding back a little or had a bit of a cold or something but she still sounded great.
Dope stuff, dude! Really cool to see an interesting take on aleatoric composing using these drum loops. Brittney is also an amazing vocalist, really good work.
Great work. I have no words! It was amazing to see this video. Great song :). I love Brittney Slayes. She is one of my the most favorite singers. Her voice is a wonderful as always :-).
Been watching your channel for at least the last two years, and becoming more and more obsessed with UtA for the last year or two as well. This made my day. Thanks Trey! B O O S T I T
Not sure if anybody's suggested this yet but you can simulate a d3 by rolling a d6 in which 1-2 are 1, 3-4 are 2, and 5-6 are 3. Prevents having to re-roll anything
I was watching the one with Courtney in it and read a comment that said you did one with Brittney. I immediately clicked off mid Courtney in a growl to listen to this.
I love the concept and the work you've done. I also love Brittney's voice as always, cause I am a big fan o UTA. ;) Buuuuut... TBH this drums are slightly missed in some parts, and it is hard to listen this when you know how it should sound. ;)
Not a fan of some of the chord choices, and makes a lot of it sound kinda awkward, but when it comes around to the ones that do make sense, it doesn't sound half bad.
@@skeletankmcgraw7343 The joint chorus parts sound like a bit of a mess, the backing vocal arrangement doesn't work. Slayes is also underutilized for the majority of that track.
I didn’t get ... if you have Eb key and drop C guitar, how can you play 6th flat? It’s out of key isn’t it? Your scale should be: (0-2)3-5-7-8-10-12-14. Drop C seems to be perfect for this key with 0 flat for dominant . 2007 breakdowns style etc.
What do you think of how the song turned out? BIG thanks to Brittney for getting in on this!
Awesome. Form a band pls
you got brittney...that automatically makes it a great song

Man's really out here playing dungeons and dragons with music
It's a public service.
I think the correct word you're looking for is LARPing.
I like the fact you basically rolled an Unleash the Archers song and picked the best person for the job!
it sounds like a song from behold the devastation but without scream vocals
I love how Trey even sings like a theatre kid
I am always happy when Trey Xavier sings on one of his songs
Burning sunlight everlasting!!!! Sick video, Trey
Feels like the lyrics were also randomly generated combining every power metal song ever made xD Jokes aside amazing work and brilliant collab! You just gained loyal follower. Thank you.
I had the same thought about the lyrics as well...but the music sounds killer.
I love this series and love @Unleash The Archers! Brittney has one of the most powerful voices in music and it was a great call to have her guest in.
Boy straight up puts a song together like he's playing with Lego blocks
The output was absolute 10/10 though!
For the 4 sided die, rolling 4 should be a free choice rather than a reroll. Just my 2 cents. I love this series.
I subscribed recently, and these random song writing videos are definitely my favorite of your content so far. Super entertaining.
Glad you like them!
Reminds me of Trivium

These videos are great dude ! Extremely fun to watch .

These are always fun to watch. The concept is simple but can lead to some fun and awesome results.

I like how this slowly becomes more like a haunted shores tune, i feel like the transformation starts at around here lol 10:59
Oh yeah something about the dual tracked guitars is instant periph-and-co
Your dual vocal action with the kinda weird/funky harmonies was excpetionally entertaining. Great job!
That pre solo singing was amazing
Brittney is amazing! Looking forward to this.
love the concept im going to order some dice and do the same!
Time to buy some stock in dice! This is a really cool concept though!
Great as always. An idea for a future dice rolling video, make a prog song where the you pick the time signatures using the dice. Would be epic haha!
Trey just casually uploading a video with one of my favorite vocalists. What's next? Random Drum Groove Metal part 10 with Hansi Kursch?
I love these video's ! I always learn something. Thanks Trey!
That lead tone is crazy, and powerful vocals!
I'm only 4 minutes in and I had to pause the video to write this comment to say that I am GIDDY with excitement, this looks so fun!
Love that it is so much its own sound. Not classic metal not new just original thanks man.
Man, this is suuuper cool! Britney amazing as usual!
Wow! Another great song! Not only are you a fantastic guitar player you're an incredible vocalist! Great job!
I could listen to an entire album from that concept song !!!!! And Brittney , she's so amazing !
Great work guys ! Brittneys voice is mind blowing ! 😍
This is fast becoming my favourite UA-cam channel. I LOVE these videos. Wish I had the same abilites hahah
This fuckin rips. Always inspiring, thanks Trey!
The prechorus riff was so trivium and I love it
I love these!!!!! You're my hero
I love these man
I’m all bout song writing ✍🏻
Gear can take a back seat, it has no point unless it’s a voice you’re making music with
So I love this
Good call and well put.
I'm REEEAAAAAAAALLLY excited about new Star One album and Brittney sings on it!
🎶🔥

most plebs would have just tuned down a half step and open e tremolod forever. but we're dealing with a pro
Love this content. Do more!
I do 3-4 per year around this time, more next year during Metal Month!
Way to come up with a song! I'll try this approach next time.
I didn't know that Chacho Coudet is a musician, haha! Great stuff!
Use to write breakdowns by filling a couple bars with 16th note rests and flipping a coin to decide where the chugs would go.
The dice did not fail us🤘🤘. Sounds great!!
I was watching the one with Courtney in it and read a comment that said you did one with Brittney. I immediately clicked off mid Courtney in a growl to listen to this.
I am simple man. I see Britney, i press like instantly.
Awesome Man!!! Could Not! have had a better guest vocalist !!!!
I love that chorus
this is why GearGods make you pick up a guitar and play! Great.
the end product sounds like something Jinjer would want to write
Que hermosa canción!
I love the concept and the work you've done. I also love Brittney's voice as always, cause I am a big fan o UTA. ;) Buuuuut... TBH this drums are slightly missed in some parts, and it is hard to listen this when you know how it should sound. ;)
Awesome Music Game!
great vocals Brittney!
Nice work :)
Trey kinda sounding like Devin Townsend at 22:00
Sounds like a song you would hear on a sunday, in a church..
wtf kind of church do you go to
@@treyxaviermusic Literally, some of my buds do this kind of stuff
I’ve been to many churches and I’ve never heard anything like this haha
You can roll a d6 and divide it by 2 for a d3, rather then do the d4.
BOOSTIT!!!!
Best combination is GGD groove midi packs (like Halpern 2) with Toontrack's EZDrummer2 Death Metal EZX
Awesome, simply awesome! \m/
that VOICE!!!!! LORD HAVE MERCY!
I want those lyrics.
off the charts dude.... good weird stuff
Damnit I love me some power speed metal. This turned out great!
I can't hecking decide on going deeper in my EZD2 collection or switch to different stuff like GGD. Reeeeeeeee
Power metal is your colour!
Fucking lucky getting all double kick for the song
You should use a D6 for the 3 with a 1/2-3/4-5/6 system instead of the D4 with re-roll. More efficient and would settle the stats nerd on me. Haha!
Wasn't until the Chorus I realised why this was familiar. Twitch perks persons and gentle folks.
The DnD dice is the wierdest nerd code flex.
I don't know why, but I feel that Spencer Sotelo would slay this song.
Roll for initiative.
Nice. Repping the Jared Dines signature for this one.
Britney is awesome.
dont rly know how power metal it is, but pretty sick
The one word I kept saying....Tastety
Nissssssssssssssssssce 🍻
Rad
So you're saying the intro of a song is like the abstract of a scientific publication? 😊 That's what you write last, for sure!
Not a fan of some of the chord choices, and makes a lot of it sound kinda awkward, but when it comes around to the ones that do make sense, it doesn't sound half bad.
I’m pretty sure this is how tool and progressive musicians
Produce music
super rad #boostit
dude you forgot epic dual solo
Dawg you have a 7 string tuning in the discription but you use a six
That’s my usual tuning, this one was Drop C
@@treyxaviermusic i thought it sounded like drop c that's what I use on my sixes thanks
Power metal? But where is the cheese?
I hear Wisconsin has most of it
Her voice is underutilized.
oh shit what's going on trey
As soon as I heard drop C I was out.
Oooooar...
The only bit that worked for me was your vocal section. I thought that was exceptional. The rest of it, kinda felt all over the place.
It sounded like there were two different songs playing at the same time.
@@skeletankmcgraw7343 The joint chorus parts sound like a bit of a mess, the backing vocal arrangement doesn't work. Slayes is also underutilized for the majority of that track.
Nice song, but I think you can do better than using a virtual instrument for bass
Dude
yes dude
@@treyxaviermusic Dude just kinda says it all
Awesome arrangement but those Vox mixes a little too high
is it me or is it too low for Britney Slays??
Hm. Maybe I do like power metal...

I mean it had britney, so yea song could have been shit it's OK can just stare at her
Song sounded random and generic, as expected.
