Jehu you didn't show where the breakers are and you need to do some testing with a heater plus like on another comment we saw that the wires in the Nema 30 amp connection the wires are connected backwards...
The 20 amps plugs are connected in the board in one circuit so the total power consumption still 20 amp maximum, some people think that every one of those receptacles are 20 amp each but the design is for 20 amp each but this doesn't mean that the equipment is gonna give you a total of 80 amps...

I was trying to find some specs on the MPPT Charge Controller for the Delta Pro that you had towards the end of the video - MR500-UV-MPPT to see if by chance it was rated for higher voltage input than what they advertise? The updated specs on their website says that it can handle: 1600W Max, 11-150V, 15A I'm not sure how to get to the 1600W of power though; well perhaps if I used more, smaller panels and did some sort of series parallel setup to max out the Amp / V input requirements. I wanted to use some REC Alpha 400 solar panels but they have a VoC of 48.8 volts, so I can only put 3 panels in series without going over the 150v max; but I thought maybe it was rated for higher than advertised. Has anyone gone over that in testing? If so did some alarm trigger, cutting off the charge controller, or was it able to handle more voltage consistently?

The solar conector input is it a t60 or t90 and could you connect a larger battery bank 20kw home built through that port with a dc to dc converter to regulate dc power to les tha 150 v and 10 amps.
I want to put a small 1000w propane generator with a dc charger through that port and use the ecoflow to buffer energy spikes from larger appliances could you tests those 2 capability’s

  • @DormantIdeasNIQ

so, interesting, the voltage of the battery is not mentioned anywhere, but it is a 48V...
That means it has converters to drop to the 12V and other outlets
...gonna be more efficient on the AC side(HOBOTECH says 93%).
...but how does it push 48V+ to charge the battery,
does it have smart switching that converts the pack to a 12V/24V on the charge side?
how does that work? must one have a solar array setup to higher than 48V?

Thank you very much for sharing the architecture overview of Delta Pro.
I recently purchased one for home backup during emergency but quite unfortunate it stopped working after 3 weeks of use. I contacted EcoFlow support but no response. It seems the warranty is limited and does not cover the product outside UK.
But from the look of things, I could discover that the inverter section of the unit has failed because I could perceive a burnt smell from the Front Right of the unit.
How do I get a replacement inverter charger board for the unit?

Exactly that's what I was going to mention that, I'm a certified A/C and D/C electrician with 23 years of experience and I've seen lots of equipment like this with discrepancies of this nature this means that the company doesn't have a good quality control, in this case the black wire ia the one that conducts the Current and the white wire is the Neutral and the green wire is the Ground and in the A/C power the Neutral ia connected to the Neutral in the Main Service Panel.
That was a good catch by you 👍👍👍

Of course they listen to suggestions from the big 4 because if you or one of the big 4 reviewers gives a bad review it hurts their campaign and if 2 or more give a bad review they might as well shut it down you do tear down and that tells us the quality of the product now if you would just think of us financially challenged people and do a review on the entry level solar generator instead of the great reviews they get from those who don't care about how well it's built or if it only lasts a year before you have to replace the battery Duracell 1440 watt modified sine Wave inverter is under 500$ but it only charges to just over 13 volts and discharges below 11 for what I used to use them for it would have been great if it had proper charging parameters and regulated 12 Volt out nature generator 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter would be great if it had proper charging parameters and a regulated 12 Volt out for them to put proper charging parameters would cost nothing extra except for the fact they'll lose battery sales as the battery would last 5 to 8 years but because there units us sealed lead acid batteries non of the big 4 reviewers will do a review think about it with a few proper reviews maybe they would put in circuitry for a regulated 12 Volt out and add USB quick charge and type C and a programmable mppt solar charge controller they would still be affordable Skip the bills one month and I would have the money to buy one skip 2 months and I could afford the one to cut the grid it wouldn't take long to to pay for it and with a charge controller that's programmable for lithium battery I'd soon have enough money to buy a lithium battery for it to buy the unit the big 4 reviewers review my utilities would be cut off long before I could afford one as I have 2: strikes again me I'm in Canada so our price is over 25 percent higher than the state's and shipping is expensive both of these two units are not only in a price range we can afford but they are sold at Costco Home Depo and Lows so even if I have to order online they ship it to the nearest Home Depo or Lowa for either free or a reasonable price
