I made a playlist on my Plex server of all the movies you listed, I post it in an other comment if people want the list without having to write it down. Here's the link of the picture of it. might be useful, I dunno :) keep on the good work my dudes. imgur.com/gallery/GYDTIln
Enjoyed your podcast, but guys, guys, guys, you have to do the due diligence. When you say that The Terminator had one of the best screenplays ever, you should know that Cameron was sued for plagiarism for ripping off two Outer Limits episodes written by Harlen Ellison - hence the apology later inserted at the end credits. Your love for movies and enthusiasm is great but there are big gaps in your knowledge base.. Be careful when writing your text.. Cheers!
@@JOEMORRISSEY70 James Cameron emphatically denied Ellison's allegations and was opposed to the settlement, stating "For legal reasons I'm not suppose [sic] to comment on that (the addition of acknowledgement credits) but it was a real bum deal, I had nothing to do with it and I disagree with it
@@JOEMORRISSEY70 that story involves zero robots and zero AI themes. James Cameron’s didn’t apologize, the studio forced him to put that in the credits. It was a legal situation that never proved he ripped it off
Congratulations on 100 episodes! Your guys movie podcast has been so fun to listen to and I use some of your takes for characters I play. The way you break down everything is super helpful!
Thanks so much, we appreciate it 🙌
Alien(1979) is a masterpiece
Aliens(1986) is a textbook classic example of how to make an excellent sequel
T2 judgement day would be better though. Favorite Arnold movie. Shares the spot with Total Recall though.
@@harrihaffi2713 also classics
I personally think Alien was very unique but had too many plot flaws, I liked Prometheus much better as a movie.
And regarding Aliens, in my opinion it is not a good movie at all. Doesn't make much sense, the dialogue was even worse than the first movie and the little girl screaming got annoying really fast.
But I am glad you enjoyed them, it's just my point of view.
I love how much the studio has changed and evolved. It rlly gives the background some flavor
Gotta keep adapting 💪🏻
Congrats Guys! The Best Film Podcast in the world!🔥
Thanks Thomas!
Only movie podcast I truly enjoy, keep up the great work!
:)
Congratulations guys! Here’s to 100 more!
Thanks!!
Congrats on 100 dudes! Good shit favorite podcast of mine
Thanks!! 🙌🙌
You guys have incredible taste in movies. I've seen about 95% of this list and you guys got great mix of genres from all the significant decades of film making. You hit all the crucial movies that any cinema lover should see. Intermission was super fun my man really had LA confidential coming out in the 80s lol. First time watcher new subscriber keep the good stuff coming
Thanks so much Dom we really appreciate it!
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ be problem guys will be watching keep em coming

Will Ferrell’s Elf is a Christmas classic
Juat saw 2001 A Space Odyssey and loved it. It's a massive acid trip through human evolution and a nerve-wracking reminder of how unpredictable and empty space truly is.
I LOVED that trivia intermission...I'm new to the channels, do you guys always do that?
Yup! Every main episode 😀
Guys, you talked about Fight Club, you’re never supposed to talk about Fight Club! Seriously, I just started listening to your Podcast and I have already flown through 5 episodes. Congratulations on 100 and keep up the good work. 👍🏼
We broke the rule!! Haha thanks we appreciate it! 🙌
Congrats guys!! Required viewing in my world!!
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Love this!
Congrats on 100 episodes!
Thanks Hayden!
Congrats guys. Here’s to 100 more!

hello guys !! you re not just a movie podcast !
YOU RE THE BEST MOVIE PODCAST
edit: LOTR is one of my fav moives ever this movies is on my top 5 if not top3
I agree .. 100%
Appreciate it!

Had to come refer back to this. Been hearing you guys talk about y tu mama tambien a lot and I was like OK I need to check this out so I did and I gotta thank you guys for putting me on. What a freaking movie man, funny emotional, sad, happy. Really makes you reflect on life and what you value and how your relationships with others really plays into who you become. Thanks guys keep it up this channel is becoming one of my favorites
So glad you watched it! Appreciate it 🙌
I'm quite satisfied with this list. There's about two or three films in there that caught my attention. I'm glad you added La Haine because I feel like not a lot of people watch that film. It's incredible relevant and just the way it was shot, it's mesmerizing.
Thanks!
Love the comment about Brokeback Mountain you said it perfectly and also this role was the reason Heath Ledger became the Joker because Christopher Nolan realized he was fearless because of his acting.
100%!
Timestamp ??
Wow! i've seen most of these! I def need to get to Unforgiven, and Lost in Translation. Great list guys, the master might be my favorite movie of all time. Its such a beautiful look at relationships and unrequited love in my opinion
Man I’m not a Patreon and I almost guessed the topic for today’s show, but nonetheless great episode for me to listen to today
Almost got it!
Love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found this video searching for classic movies. Think there might be something wrong with youtubes search function. Was there more than 1 movie pre the 1960 in this video?
Anyhow congrats on 100 episodes and good luck in the future!
Thanks! I think we had just one before 1960
Scream is definitely the best! I can't get enough of these films. They're all so fun, entertaining, and engaging.
🙌🙌
Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions. I will try to watch the films I haven't seen before I die! Lmao, on another note I was wondering, why do you guys wear a headset when you're in the same room? Genuinely curious! Thanks again :)
Thanks! The headset helps us hear how we sound in the mics, sometimes if we lean back or don’t speak right into the mic it sounds bad so the headsets help us stay on top of it 👌
Thank you for mentioning the movie unforgiven. I'd never even heard of it and I consider it a bloody masterpiece. Sending Peace from England 👍
Enjoying backing up every time I miss a single second
Thanks!
Just watched the movie «Troy» and it was so good! So I would have loved it if you would make an episode about the film.
Ohhh an Ancient cultures episode would be awesome
Had to turn off the episode and go watch the Heat shootout scene really quick. Congratulations on the 100 episode boys!
Best shootout scene ever! Thanks 🙌
Simon pegg and nick frost they need an episode for their acting and directing films they are a golden duo too funny
Great episode lovin the background boiz keep up the good work
100% 🙌🙌
no, there's another...
Hey guys, new to your guys channel, but I love the content. All together a fantastic list, however, among many movies, I believe Donnie Darko should make it. It is a very complex film, however, it’s very eye/opening and enhances the human experience.
Thanks! We love that movie, just barely didn’t make it in 🙌
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ Very understandable, 100 movies in a world full of them is tough. Keep up with the videos, I love the content.
@@daltonsperle5150 thanks! 🙌
I feel like a couple movies were missing in my opinion like Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Heredaitry, Midsommer, The VVitch, The Light House, War Dogs, The Wolf of Wall Street, Boyz in the Hood, Stand by Me, The Goonies, Friday, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, 9, Coraline, The Babadook, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, The Wrestler, Clerks, Superbad, Austin Powers, Full Metal Jacket, Spirited Away, Night Of Living Dead, Dawn Of The Dead, Marriage Story, Jumanji, My Girl, Second Hand Lion, Finding Nemo, Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express, 10 Cloverfield Lane ,The King Of Staten Island, The Warrior, The Revenant, The Fast and The Furious, 21/22 Jump Street, Ghostbusters, Zombieland, UP that's all i can think of lol
Like we said, it's a tough list to make lol
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ This was an amazing episode thank you
Cool list!
Gotta ask though. The lighthouse?
Watch it the other day and didn’t care much for it. Lots of fast cuts and hated the ending. Made me hungry for some hard work! Scooping coal into the oven sounds like a fun job that’ll get you ripped!
So wonder why people like it.
More on Ratched, although this video was about movies. Ratched was a twisted take on the character of Nurse Ratched before One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Next. It's in the horror genre and is a creation from Ryan Murphy who is credited for American Horror Story and 9-1-1 shows.
🙌
Hal-9000 is the reason the Butlerian Jihad happened in in the Dune universe.
Hello! So glad I found your podcast, you guys are brilliant. Have you thought about doing Suspiria, or have you and I missed it already? Would love to hear what you have to say on it.
Also, sorry to be *that* person, it it Infernal Affairs, got it right the first time. It’s brilliant, but still prefer The Departed.
Thank you again for your show! X
Hey we love Suspiria! That would be an epic episode! Hahaha originals are always better
would you consider reviewing The Apu Trilogy beginning with Pather Penchali
Glad to see you gave The Exorcist props! Go find the Saturday Night Live / Richard Pryor spoof of it!!! Pryor was a genius! Thanks for a great show!! Love your passion!
Thank you Archibald! Will do
You guys should do a video on the corneto trilogy
Absolutely
Cool idea!
Saun of the dead is one of two movies I consider the best comedy ever. The other one would be top secret
Mad Max 2:The Road Warrior is a masterpiece
The Humungous rule the wasteland!
@@analbiff5000 I heard that before
The only mad max movie I haven’t seen!
Well to be perfectly honest I’ve only seen the later parts of beyond thunderdom
Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula is extremely good and it’s Francis Ford Coppola’s last masterpiece
Very underrated movie 🙌
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ exactly it’s a masterpiece
I don’t know if in the movie interstellar it’s established that Matt is the villain or it a surprise. I just ordered the last week and it got delivered yesterday and was about to watch it today. I really hope it’s not ruined usually I skip the parts or videos of movies I haven’t seen and plan on watching but he he just brings it up but he doesn’t play bad guys a lot.
You’ll see! It’s great in it 🙌
Great list! But Dead Poets Society and The Breakfast Club should definitely be on here.
Where can I find these movies in list format. I'm too lazy to write them all down as I listen
On our Instagram and Twitter!
Saving Private Ryan deserves the Best Picture award not Shakespeare in Love and that’s a fact
I didn't love Saving Private Ryan, but Shakespeare in Love was awful - I cannot understand why so many people love it. Even without SPR being my jam, there were still some scenes that were just so well done - it shits all over SiL
*Not Ryan nor Shakespeare but Thin Red Line
When you list it out Catherine Bigelow's movies you said that The Hurt Locker is her best film. At a time I would have agreed with you at that but that means you haven't seen her film Detroit which means you must see that please watch that please. Its underrated
It is Infernal Affairs Internal Affairs is a Richard Gere film.
You’re a Richard Gere film
could you post the list, i'm sure its somewhere
It’s on our Instagram and Twitter!
Infernal Affairs ... painful to see the in-correction stick!
Will Strunk said it best: “Omit needless words”!
We had to listen to THREE MINUTES of housekeeping before you started giving us what we came for. Bad form!
It's a podcast bud!
Pale Rider is really good. Easy Rider made us the film geek we've become. Aswell as The Shining & one flew cuckoo nest.
Predator(1987) is a classic
I personally would have put superbad instead of Zoolander as far as comedies go but this was truly a great list
Respect for Predator
I have 51 of these on DVD. (Don't have any in the Harry Potter series and I don't have "The Dark Knight Rises.") Of those I don't have, there are a number of them I'd like to acquire, including acknowledged classics like "Chinatown," "Seven Samurai," "Lawrence of Arabia," and "Breathless." It would be great to see a list of films that are truly underrated in your opinion. A few of mine are "The Coca-Cola Kid," "Tune In Tomorrow," “The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes," and "Absolute Beginners."
Wow!
Fargo in Wisconsin? Come on guys. It's in Minnesota for the most part and Fargo itself is in North Dakota...
Whoops 😂😂
I like how the guy who mentioned the actual name of the movie i.e Infernal affairs got corrected with confidence 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It sounded better lmao

The Exorcist was hilarious. Just watched it for the first time last year and I wasn't scared a bit. After seeing parodies like Scarey Movie 2, I couldn't help but laugh through the entire thing.
Lol same
that's because you don't have the ability to adapt.
Well done you
does it involve Howard Hawks Sergio Leone
Sunday
would you consider reviewing the whole of Ingemar Bergman and Satyajit Ray
Bergman is one of our faves, we just aren’t sure how well an episode on his films would perform
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ just do it
Coming To America came out in the 80’s
would you guys consider reviewing Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete

20:41 it IS actually "infernal affairs" 😂😂😂
😂😂
Infernal Affairs is the correct title 😁
WTF? Terminator but no Terminator 2? It wouldn't even take up an additional place as it is part of the Terminator series.
James, if Jaws is a horror movie is Gremlins a horror movie???
Definitely
Probably the best horror movies out there. I do like the latest invisible man and pulse as well though…
How about you?
The King’s Speech doesn’t deserve to win Best Picture and Best Director
@ wrong
How about best speech and best king?
Tropic Thunder should take the place of Zoolander
Did you get the TIVO??
I thought I’d see Lethal Weapon…is it not worthy ?
Almost! I’d put it top 200
Lord for the Rings trilogy 🧝🏻♂️🧙🏻♂️: “We WILL never see movies MADE like this BEFORE” ? 🤦🏻
🤣🤣😅😅
I saw Exorcist a few years ago. In fact, the version I saw was the director's cut with all the "good" stuff left in and honestly, I wasn't that impressed by it. It was a campy, cheesy "horror" film.
What?no casablanca? or the treasure of the sierra madre, mister smith goes to washington, the wizard of oz,king kong,it's a wonderful life,on the waterfront, the night of the hunter or a streetcar named desire?and the night of the living dead is the best zombie movie
This isn’t your list 🤣
The Good The Bad and The Ugly came out in 1967
That’s right 😅
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ I highly recommend American History X
Greatest western ever?

Have you guys ever seen Midnight Cowboy?

Blue velvet?
So basically the 85 or so movies to see, that were made between '90 and 2010
... Plus a handful of others to make it seem we're Cinefiles.
Pretty sure we threw plenty from the 70s and 60s here
You guys: The Terminator is one the most original story’s ever told
Reality; Cameron was sued and lost for stealing the story from someone else
There's little relation. Check out the source for yourself.
@@CharFred-vr1ti yet he was sued and lost…
Now i can die peacefully 😌🤣
😂🙌🏻
No shawshank redemption pr schindler's list? ...k.
It's too bad Scorsese talks trash about Marvel films because they have seriously good directors that look up to him. I know he is amazing but it's hard for me to respect someone that judges movies without watching them.
In 20 years, when all that plays at cinemas is super hero films and massive franchises, we’ll look back on his quotes and understand
He's speaking the truth. They are trash.
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ I have to humbly disagree. People like variety in their movies and I don't think it will be just superhero movies and franchise movies in 20 years.
@@colereed7411 You're misunderstanding me. I never said other kinds of movies won't get made. I'm specifically talking about cinema releases, theaters. All kinds of movies will still get made, mostly for streaming release.
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ I was misunderstanding you and that makes more sense. I hope people are still going to movie theaters by then and I think they will hopefully. Unless we can just plug in the neuralink and get that dopamine boost movie theater experience.
City of god
Or: a list of films you have almost definitely already seen.
Not everyone is a film buff. Showed Goodfellas to someone for their first time last week who’s trying to get into film
