And “man, ego, etc” can’t control it and thus it got removed. The Gospel of Thomas also taught us HOW to pray, and not just why to pray. It actually breaks it down very very precisely.
Kingdom of God is within us, is a parable which means you Body belongs to God's Kingdom and to take care of the environment like you take care of the body so that You will go to the real Kingdom of God.
The Gospel of Thomas from the Nag Hammadi scrolls should definitely be a front runner but that won't happen because it suggests that since your relationship with God is personal, you just don't need priests and churches to have a chat with him.
But how will the priest and churches maintain power if it was left in the bible. I am a Christian but I also choose to look for the actual truth in things. Men are equal and priest, bishops, cardinals, pope, etc... Are just men that want to have power.
It’s a “saying” gospel and gives the earliest examples of the proverbs of Jesus. This is how Jesus taught and understanding the meanings meant by these proverbs is the key.
@@eatmorechicken1064 If you study the history of Christianity, you'll find this started almost immediately. James the brother of Jesus and Paul were at odds from day one. James started a church, while Paul walked and told Christians they could speak to God on their own and have a personal relationship with Jesus. In the book of acts Paul was literally working to gain gifts to bring to James so they could have peace and it's very likely James tried to have Paul killed!

To be fair, most of the books that aren't canon are available to be read through other sources (which is more trustworthy anyway). If the Bible were to include every book or story ever written in those days "in the name of Jesus" or God or morality or whatever else it'd be 80,000 pages long. That's a bit excessive, so some picking and choosing is necessary haha
The Bible already contradicts itself a lot. It'd be a totally ridiculous mess if they'd all been included. A bit like including all Harry Potter fan fiction into the original books.
There are other books that were left out by Constantine (the 'father' of the Catholic church). They continue to change the Word of God: they gave us Sunday as the Sabbath (over 100 times written in the Bible). They want to change the Lord's Prayer are just two examples. The Bible itself warns (Revelation) about changing the word of God. Adding or subtracting from it. If it's not alright with God, it's not alright...
The Council of Nicaea were the ones to make the decision on the books, not Constantine, he just rubber stamped their decision. He only converted on his death bed. The Gospel of Mary. I love how the Church fears women. Besides I want to know about Jesus more than what the Bible wrote. Thanks Katrina! As always very well done video!🕊
There are 3 examples of the Gospel of Mary. They all have the same section cut out of the scrolls. Physically cut out, not crossed out but removed from the portions of the scrolls.
This is nonsense. There is no evidence that "the Church" (which, at that time, did not exist as a single, monolithic entity) censored this text because it feared women. In fact, there is no proof of censorship of any kind for any reason. We simply don't have enough evidence to form a theory as to why this work was written and why it was not widely distributed. We know this: The work was not popular. If it had been, it would have been named and refuted by the anti-Gnostic church fathers. Why didn't the text find a wider audience? Perhaps because it was perceived as a Third Century forgery. Perhaps the still-missing sections propounded a theology considered absurd or distasteful. There are any number of possibilities. We simply cannot know the answer due to insufficient data. In general, most Gnostic texts were written by and about males. They, too, were thought lost until the Nag Hammadi rediscovery. Those works were discarded because their authors lost a theological debate, not because your mythical Church censors feared women. In general, those who pretend to be experts on the Gospel of Mary have never read it. It's not a particularly feminist work. It doesn't say: "The moral of the story is ''Let's All Treat Women Better.'" In fact, the meat of the work has nothing to do with earthly matters. The central section, of which we have only the very beginning and the final page, concerns very abstract mystical concepts. Example: "When the soul had overcome the third power, it went upwards and saw the fourth power, which took seven forms. The first form is darkness, the second desire, the third ignorance, the fourth is the excitement of death, the fifth is the kingdom of the flesh, the sixth is the foolish wisdom of flesh, the seventh is the wrathful wisdom. These are the seven powers of wrath." So: Seven powers have seven forms, and each form seems to have seven powers. Pretty damned confusing, if you ask me -- especially since the author never defines the terms "power" and "form." Whether you find the above-quoted words profound or silly, you will have a hard time arguing this teaching is about women. Your feminism has blinded you to the actual text. Put aside your modern political agendas and try to read the words on the page objectively.

Shame that we will never get the 'complete' bible due to errors of nefarious humans. But we sure are more enlightened to have this 'known' what we are in fact missing
Well, like any good book and story, someone needs to edit it to be a coherent and consistent read for the big theme. It wouldn't be as impactful if it was a full collection of all the random twists people put on the same stories when telling them forward.
Not all changes were made due to errors, changes were also made to some scripture to bring it in line with the Catholic Church's doctrine, some were destroyed for the same reason.
I guess the truth basically is : humans aren't the dominant power on this planet. Death is a lie.We aren't the human body. Reality experienced through the human body is a simulation. Our science is still primitive.
Just to clarify, the prerequisite for the New Testament biblical cannon was that the book was written by an Apostle/overseen by an Apostle (with the exclusion of Paul on the basis that he was given the authority by God [Acts:9]). The books of Enoch, Thomas (which isn’t actually by Thomas btw), and Mary don’t meet OT or NT requirements because they were not given authority to write scripture (or are not by the authors they claim to be written by). It’s easily recognizable when those works contradict biblical cannon works. Also if a writing claims to have authority from God in itself and no other work, it’s potentially cannon, potentially not cannon.
So if i tell you that god gave me authority to write a gospel book then that makes it cannon and it fit the requirement. Because i told you god said so...so that makes it true. The Bible is cyclical and its rididculous.. just as all holy books are. They tell you that they are holy, so they are holy. There is no other proof that they are what they say they are other than the fact that they tell you so. Just like all religious arguments... they are cyclical and based on faith... faith means that there is no proof. I can have faith that the Easter bunny exists, but that doesn’t make it true.
Fortunately we have math to fall back on when doubt arises as to the historical authenticity of scripture. The ancient Hebrew and Greek alphabets were alphanumeric is nature, meaning that each letter also had a numeric value. Ivan Panin wrote extensively on this subject in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The unadulterated texts adhere to a rigorous coding procedure in which when the letters are represented as their numeric equivalents, the sums of the letters are always divisible exactly by seven. This is referred to as heptadic structure. This is why the writers and translators were repeatedly admonished to not change one letter of the text. ELS (equidistant Letter Sequencing) is another interesting sub text to scripture. These symbiotic sub routines are not evident in the non inspired works.
No book should be left out for reasons that they do not fit a narrative of any religion. They should comprise a set of books called the bible, like encyclopedias and do as the Bible says, 'Your choice is to believe or not to believe'.
There were dozens of German translations of the Bible before Luther was born. I have a page from a Catholic Bible in Low German printed when he was only 4 years old, but the actual translation was made over one hundred years before Luther. It does show a couple of Catholic additions, such as Chapters, but while some Catholic Bibles also had verses, my leaf does not include verses. It was a couple hundred years before Luther removed the seven OT books and seven NT books from the Bible, that a Catholic bishop divided the Bible into Chapters, then later a Catholic priest further divided it into verses to more easily find verses. The Protestant NT only agrees with the Catholic NT today because his Protestant peers forced him to replace them and to remove some of the additions Luther inserted into those NT books he had retained.
The only truth about what you said is that Luther's translation is not the first German translation. The Masorites spent over a hundred years restoring the Hebrew Old Testament (as we call it). They added chapter and verse. That is the Masoretic text which with the Greek Septuigent is the basis for all translations. The books of the Apocrapha are not in the Hebrew Bible. Whether they are Scripture or not was in dispute in Luther's day with reputable scholars on both sides. The RCC only ADDED them to its canon after Luther left them out of his. Luther never considered any of the 27 books of the New Testament to not be Scripture. He considered not including James and Revelation and other books in his published translation because they are difficult to understand. Definitely meat not milk to use Paul's terminology. He was persuaded by his followers that the whole Bible should be available to everyone. Luther did write a treatise on James . Luther never made any additions. No one not even the Pope could force Luther to do anything. When Philip Melancthon who formalized Lutheran theology more than anyone else changed his theology it was Melancthon who left and Lutheran leaders overwhelmingly rejected Melancthon's changes to his own works.
@@raranerakoma1993 Go to any Catholic bookstore. They will have copies of several translations approved by the RCC for sale. On line there are several sources the one I know is You Version which has hundreds of translations in dozens of languages available for download. Most are protestant but some are Catholic. They are labeled by their names not their affiliations but those called inter confessional are Catholic. They also have versions that are used by protestants that include the Apocrapha. I don't know if they have any Ethiopian or Orthodox translations but if they do they are not in English or Spanish so I can't read them. I hope this helps.
I don't believe that the early church leaders were interested in people questioning them so any endorsement of Thomas who they characterized as a doubter was never likely to make it in to the new testament

The First Book of Enoch is much older than the 3rd Century. He was referring to the "only complete copy" of the first book of Enoch. "Parts of" the first book of Enoch were found in the caves with other scrolls that are all now referred to as the Dead Sea scrolls. The lack of early records has always been a big problem for Christianity. The conflicting oral traditions led to the formulation of various creeds among followers of given traditions and followers of creeds not too dissimilar to others. The Nicene Creed being the primary output of the First Nicene Council in 325. The oral traditions not integrated into a creed that eventually became part of the Nicene Creed are gone. How could the church select a few for the bible and not all? The way I see it is that the church leaders didn't like being faced with the written truth by the apostles etc, so they got rid of what was important just to keep control of what the people can or in this case cannot read
You don't. So, be aware of how much credence you put into it. Especially be on alert to how much other's try to tell you it means, and what to believe.
You don't, unless you learn to read them in the original language, you just have to take the translators at their words and hope they do the job right and don't put their own spin on it (the KJV, NKJV and the NIV are some of the most popular that add and take away things needlessly) Today's bibles are so far removed from the actual texts that I wouldn't put any faith in any of them. My suggestion would be to find an academic translation made by people who don't have a horse in the race, so to speak, instead of a religious based translation made by people who may have reason to be less than honest in how they translate the texts.
Heaven and Hell was left out because the church world didn't want to work toward perfection. It was easier to say everyone was going to heaven when they died vs everyone went to hell for not making the mark. Christ was the perfect sacrifice to open the New Testament. He showed and told us how to get caught up. Paul made it to the third heaven. Yet the church world is still telling us to wait for Jesus to come back a third time. Jesus is telling us the kingdom of God is peace and Joy in the holy ghost, it's time for us to get caught up in spirit.
This is why I don't hold with "organized" religion...you know that whomever did the translating would happily throw their own spin into whatever was said. To anyone who said "we'll NEVER know the truth" was ever so correct, which is so very sad because maybe we wouldn't have as many problems these days if there was but one correct translation. Of course it would also have to come down to having but one religion too. And as we know, there are those who STILL have to argue over who's right! What's really sad is that there have been just about more deaths in the name of good ole religion than all deaths COMBINED since humans crawled put of the ooze....

The Gospel of Thomas from the Nag Hammadi scrolls should definitely be a front runner but that won't happen because it suggests that since your relationship with God is personal, you just don't need priests and churches to have a chat with him.

Jesus told us about our Earthly Mother as well as our Heavenly Father....
Example:
"When the soul had overcome the third power, it went upwards and saw the fourth power, which took seven forms. The first form is darkness, the second desire, the third ignorance, the fourth is the excitement of death, the fifth is the kingdom of the flesh, the sixth is the foolish wisdom of flesh, the seventh is the wrathful wisdom. These are the seven powers of wrath."
So: Seven powers have seven forms, and each form seems to have seven powers. Pretty damned confusing, if you ask me -- especially since the author never defines the terms "power" and "form."
Whether you find the above-quoted words profound or silly, you will have a hard time arguing this teaching is about women. Your feminism has blinded you to the actual text. Put aside your modern political agendas and try to read the words on the page objectively.

Davids voice makes this channel 🔥

Utter nonsense.
You simply don't understand that the bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and HE led holy men to write the inspiration.

The First Book of Enoch is much older than the 3rd Century. He was referring to the "only complete copy" of the first book of Enoch. "Parts of" the first book of Enoch were found in the caves with other scrolls that are all now referred to as the Dead Sea scrolls. @@michielvdvlies3315 Then you have nothing to refer to. Everything we know about the time of Jesus is oral tradition. Even the Gospel of Mark was first recorded half a century after the fact.
The lack of early records has always been a big problem for Christianity. It was such a big mess they came up with Sacred Tradition and Living Tradition, among others, to decide what was to be recognized as parts of those oral traditions.
Nobody ever wrote them down. Ever. Even Paul in the Pauline Epistles talks about them not being written down.

The Niv and King James are the actual word of God
You don't, unless you learn to read them in the original language, you just have to take the translators at their words and hope they do the job right and don't put their own spin on it (the KJV, NKJV and the NIV are some of the most popular that add and take away things needlessly) Today's bibles are so far removed from the actual texts that I wouldn't put any faith in any of them. My suggestion would be to find an academic translation made by people who don't have a horse in the race, so to speak, instead of a religious based translation made by people who may have reason to be less than honest in how they translate the texts.
Apocalyps of Paul should be included in the Bible to join all his Episles. Thank you
Heaven and Hell was left out because the church world didn't want to work toward perfection.

I’ve read the gospel of Thomas and found it to be one of the most beautiful scriptures of all.
The books that weren't skeptical were the ones that make up the bible . Historians understand texts and how it flows with the books of the bible that is known to be official if a book teaches something different and doesnt follow what the bible has taught then its not to be added. Modern scholars understand this and this is how historians look at ancient writings along with the antual writing style . Its deep but theres a reason they weren't added its not a mystery except to those who never read the bible . The bible iant a book you can read once it takes a life lifetime of reading and only then can you begin to understand how much wisdom is in the bible. The book is alive 🙌
why should mortals get to decide what should be included or exluded in the Bible? You really trust them that much?
@@nkosinathimazibuko8571 the Holy Spirit inspired HOLY men to write the BIBLE.
Did you expect God to physically write us scrolls???
This new guy David did a good job. They shouldn't of kept anything out of the Bible. As a Catholic, I like to read what is missing. If they got more stuff that happen I like to know about it.
21,000 years? Well you can’t doubt that, can you?
The vanished history from books are already available and preserved in Quran. all the things you've mentioned are in the noble Quran.
Good to know
Women were excluded because it was a control thing again. In the same way Shari'a still excludes women today.
But so you know, I do appreciate your well presented (unlike mine) content.
P.s. look at all the numbers in the bible. They are key in a greater understanding.
Why not gather all the books into one great volume , and then let the world decide ...
I believe Jesus lived all aspects of human life including marriage and children
Katrina, David - I’m diggin the channel, especially your videos pertaining to religious, Biblical, angels/demons mythology and various subjects of the like. Always interesting!
Great narrator
Remember, that time was Aramaic and Greek. That book is enormous.
I love when we get a surprise visit from David!
Because its a well known fact that there are things missing from the bible, shouldn't a new bible be created with all the missing texts. Well the ones that they can get hold of. Also it might be worth going threw the original translated texts to see if other things where left out. In this day and age, there should not an incomplete bible out here
Supposed to. Be in process of it now.....✌️🙏
How you want to practice christianity if your God inspired Bible spoiled by human hand? Confusing.. weird
There is only one video on my channel but the knowledge inside is a powerful tool for your dawah
TRULY FASCINATING.
STORIES.
DAVID YOUR STORYTELLING IS GRIPPING IT REALLY PULLS YOU IN.
GREAT WORK
The earlier religions were very female heavy, with wise women as leaders. Men seemed to get upset my this.
That these wise women knew, learned, and passed down wisdom of plants and healing and of the mysteries of conception and birth; these are things that few men took time to learn.
Later these women became the 'witches' for their knowledge.
I believe because I have met Him...He rocked me to the core... Thank you Lord Jesus 🌹🙏☝️
The snake that they called satan is the symbol of wisdom (Matt.10:16).He want Eve and Adam to be wise (Hosea 4:6),not a stupid slave (Gen.2:15) for gods (Gen.1:26-28 {giant human}).What is wrong with that?.Read and look properly every words and think what it really mean. Then we know the truth.Ask the Holy Spirit to come into our heart and dont hesitate to communicate with Him (that is faith).Dont look for answer from the blinds so you will save from deceiption or just swallow what others told you, some religious teachers even dont know what they are talking about. They just do their job and get salaries. God didnt live in the temple or church building (Isaiah 66:1/Acts 7:49).God is Spirit (the power of life). Our body is the temple of Holy Spirit (1 Corint.6:19,John 14:20,15:4) - meaning Imannuel (Isaiah 7:14,Matt.1:23)
I think we need to be careful just including everything without proper scrutiny would be confusing and possibly confuse the teachings of Christ, l am sure Jesus could have said more and the gospels certainly say that. So we have to keep our eye on the prize and press forward to the goal, salvation through Jesus.
✔️💯🏆🕯️
Amen!!!! I have testimonies in my life that can not be explained in this human world. Most would say they are coincident!!! Well then... I have a lot of beautiful coincident then. To many to write on here!!! Praise father God the creator of the Universe!!! In Jesus precious name!!! Peace n Love
Read the book of Enoch! Its VERY insightful!
Why is it so hard to tell the truth about history?
I do believe that the BOOK OF ESDRAS was one of the books that was removed and also predicted it's removal plus others
The so called "Bible story of Jesus" exists in much older writings, only the name was different.
Hi
Do you know what other names were used?
What other writings are you referring to?
So glad I serve a Living God. He is the One who guides and leads me and I can always trust Him and His Living Word.
Why do you use the term living God, to whom are you referring to?

This was great!
Interesting. I'm saving this one because I understood some things to have been different; I'm always learning. Thanks folks.
I would like to ask that you take a trip to the great Egyptian museum and do a special on your top artefacts.
All of the books of the bible should be included and retranslated from it original language. Time goes by and words are changed in there meanings what we have today is not what was originally written.
The BIBLE is complete with 66 books.
Only the deceived will keep adding more books.
@@J_a_s_o_n I respect your opinion however I do not agree with you. There is too too much missing information and pieces of information. Why were books taken out? What information is not being shared? What happened to many people that are important and just simply disappear out of the Bible? Where are the dinosaurs in the Bible?
But as far as why some of the books were left out of the Bible we know as as of now some of the stories talking about having a password to get in heaven and other small details like that would contradict what they want you to believe or some of the context of some of the books that were left out could give regular people more power and the people who run the cities and countries don't want their people to have power. Either one or both I believe could be a possible explanation
My mother owns the book of Enoch and it's awesome
Who is Athanasius ? His role is excessively important. They removed reincarnation
Athanasius was the one who at Nicea in 325 A.D. defended the belief that Jesus was in reality divine Father God Himself in mortal flesh. He was right but lost his arguments to the fence sitters.
Eternal Father TRUTH creator of heaven and earth and all that is in them; His Spirit unconditional LOVE; His Son the FORM of God - the Christ - Immanuel, which means, "God Himself with us." - Isaiah 7:14.
Read Isaiah 44:6 and Revelation 1:17-18 and look who is identified as the First and the Last.
Pretty important information when one realizes that one's confession that "Jesus is LORD", is the password they spoke of in the video - Romans 10:9-10
@@EdOfTheNorth His role is so important the bible itself should talk about him.
For many people talking God was Jesus seems to be blasphemy. It's a mistake similar to saying we are human bodies (we know we are souls or spirits or something else godly).
It's just technical details. Jesus said we are gods. I guess we or Jesus aren't manifesting the whole potential while in the human body.
Of course these are probably the most powerful story’s that actually give you power
You have to realize that they didn’t have advertising back then so to get people to read a book that you wrote you put a famous name on it as an author. Also, I don’t understand how people can believe that God created an entire universe (cosmos in ancient Hebrew) but they don’t believe God can put one book together.
This narrator is glossing over these texts. If you read them for yourself (which I have read a few) you’ll see why they weren’t included for yourself.
My point is; before you make a judgment about something gather as much information about as you can.
that is EXCELLENT advice
Woman have been denied and subjugated since the first bible texts that acussed them of the eternal sin of mating with the Devil
Don't be deceived. Eve represents "Emotion" and Adam represents "Logic". Eve lusted to become like God and take over as boss while Adam doubted what God told him. Neither are gender specific. The Apostle Paul told us that but people don't believe what he said, which in fact agrees with what the Jewish Hebrew Old Testament texts tell us as well.
The process culminated in 382 as the Council of Rome, which was convened
under the leadership of Pope Damasus, promulgated the 73-book
scriptural canon.. Martin luther's opinion is martin luther's opinion..! "opinion"
Just goes to show you that clearly the Bible was indeed written by man, and that man created the idea of God.
God is real. Seek him genuinely and he answers through your consciousness
Interesting how humans can predict the future then. 🙄
Cuz we can find descriptions of cars, airplanes looong before they got invented. We can read scripture that describes modern sociaty etc. etc... and no, I'm certain we can't predict the future on our own. God do exist but sadly people refuse to open their eyes and see it.
How do the Romans wrote the Bible for Christianity if they're the ones who killed him ! ???? As usual it doesn't add up 😢
Through the acts of Roman Empire in the third century monotheism was pried loose from the hands of the Hebrew hierarchy and given lock Stock and Barrel to what would become the Roman Catholic Church( the polythiest hierarchy that was formerly in charge of the polythiest practices within the Roman Empire) this explains the apologizing within the gospels that made it a clear agenda that Rome was not to be blamed for the death of Joshua the son of Joseph
Number 1 was so ridiculously hilarious.😆😁
Wait.......the Bible was written by mere mortals?!?!?! GET OUUUUUT
Listen carefully to 7:17- 7:40! Even across the world people experience God in all his glory his mercy and his wrath.
Would be great if a new Bible was produced including all these books and texts so we finally have a complete Bible.
Have you even read the Bible today in its entirety that you would want more books included?
@@oliverjuria993 how is it in its entirety if as this video suggests texts have been omitted? Did you even think your comment through before hitting send?
1 Enoch should have been included, but St. Augustine was instumental in removing it
because of his disbelief that, in Genesis 6, the sons of God were angels and in his theory that they were
sons of cain.
True, the Church still teaches that nonsense.
Again Lilith first wife of Adam not included here...hm..which tells me you throw sand into people's eyes knowing soon or later all comes to the surface and can't be hidden by anyone.
Do you know why Adam had Lilith cast out of Eden?
"bara" does *NOT* mean "created."
God did *NOT* "create" the universe, as the Holy Book says.
"bara" means "grew into" or "filled-in/out"
God grew into the universe. The creation is the creator.
this is reality...dualism is a delusion.
you cannot do well when others are doing poorly...you cannot benefit from doing harm.
Mammon has tricked you into serving Him and believing you can do things that you cannot do.
