I routinely check the internet for stories about Danny Kaye, and today was my lucky day. Thank you for this. I never met him, always wanted to, but he continues to bring joy to my life, as I sing along, in the shower and walking the halls of my school, especially the Ugly Duckling.
I've always loved Danny. He was such a talented man.. and so capable in anything his put his mind to!! Did you know that he was also a professional chef? His specialty..., Chinese foods!! He loved to entertain and would often have friends over for a dinner cooked by himself!! The first movie that introduced me to Danny Kaye was HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON. I still adore the songs from that film. I also enjoy all his other films as well!! Like many of you, I too when through a phase were I wanted more information on him but couldn't find anything!! One of the bios has gone out of print and the prices for copies on Amazon/EBay run a bit too expensive for my income. But I did find a nice copy of another bio which was pretty good. I still wish I could find more out there!! I am always greatful for talents that so many entertainers share with us. You are missed Danny!!! R.I.P!!
I love this man. The very last statement is so true, and thank you to Dina for sharing her father with us. My father would watch him with me, he loved him too. I feel lucky that my father treated people the same way and his ideals reside in me too. ♡
Thank you for the upload, although I wish I could have seen more pictures and some of the clips that were referred to. I always adored Danny (a fellow redhead).
This is fantastic thanks for uploading it. I love Danny and have my kids in stitches sing or trying to sing his song especially the maladjusted jester lol
The pellet with the poison is in the vessel with the pestle; the flagron with the dragon has the brew that is true. They broke the vessel with the pestle. "They broke the vessel with...!?" Yes. The pellet with the poison is in the flagron with the dragon; the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true. Just remember that.
Tanja Nelson As far as I know he only had one daughter. This is the link to his page on findagrave.com. findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=1316

Hey, he was cute. I love Bing Crosby's son Gary but Bing wasn't as cute as Danny to me.
Danny maybe was better than Mickey rooney
Not good looking and not an actor? Excuse me?! I DISAGREE!!! lol
DANNY KAYE. BROUGHT I THE J FOR JIVE AND SCAT TALK MAGNIFICENT
Not all actors have to be handsome. Just look at Tom Hanks.
he was gay
Bisexual. He had affairs with women, too.
Who cares. He was talented, generous, and a good man.
🧐SO? ....

Danny was a femme; Sylvis was butch.
