What is !?
What is !?
step one: find a person who plays dutch defense alot
true 😅
that would probably be me
also me, it's good to know this line tho
Dutch defence isn't that rare
It's good to know these things, just incase you come across someone who plays it.
My man straight up just turned bobby bojangles rap traps to a text to speech
i do sound like him in this video. Not intentional 😅
@@chessscape it's ok
@@chessscape no human is capable of such high level voice, what sorcery is this
@@WeeD_Slayer i dont know what to answer because its just me and my voice. You wanna try on a phone call to confirm? 😂
Because you have to know this.. focus
friend: does not play dutch defense
me: well that's not part of the script
i keep on losing to a friend so i tell them to use specific openings and he just wont listen man i need to win
Hahahaha
The first chess game I played after I saw this video I did it and it worked 💀
@@greenansel1446 it occasionally happens, if your the dutch player you just have to be careful
Well that’s the point of chess each and every opening has a different script. So you study them all!
You have to know this.
Here’s the moves it starts with.
they don’t know they just see this
@@jaayfrmbk slide the queen and bait it

@@That_dawg420 you didnt sleep well last night? 🤣
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO now I can't beat u anymore 😭😭
I play Dutch, I would just play nf6 on move 2, even without knowing this trap I know nf6 has to happen
Hello! Fellow Dutch defense player. We should all know to play Nf6 as soon as the Queen can get out. It's like Dutch defense 101
Mfs setting up traps. Fight me pawn to pawn like a man bro

He sacrifices the ROOKKKK!!!!!!!
very funny and original, shut up
Can you stop
I can hear Gotham’s voice in this text
I’m going to send this to my opponent so that they know what to play
Or maybe study other lines of theory and get good.
@@damianmackie7612 Where can you study theory? I always see people talk about theory and stuff, is it just learning all the engines moves on what it would do in certain cases? Appreciate any advice
@@ok_e3w There are countless books on opening theory that you can get, but I recommend playing around with opening moves on Arkon. It will tell you the names of any openings you put into it, so you can research them. It can be a little bit risky finding advice on openings online, so make sure that, if you’re watching UA-cam videos or reading articles about openings, they are made by titled players such as GMs, IMs and FMs.
@@ok_e3wreading a few books about openings or getting some courses about openings
“You have to know this, here’s the moves it starts with”
find a sentence you want me to start with 😉 i ll take the one that receives the most votes. Let’s go!
they dont know, they played g6
this is so useful! (i have never ever played against a Dutch)
you will ;)
Now let's try to find someone who uses the dutch defense!
and there goes your friend who dont know how to play so he just randomly move the pieces
I know somebody who told me to learn the Dutch because he loves it :)))
I usually play the Dutch defense against a queen's pawn opening because I hate symmetry. I've met players who use this trap against me and while I don't fall for it, it does make my castles weaker. However, often times I make up for it with a monstrous pawn structure in the middle of the board.
since when did you start playing chess
@@rachid_gamer010 years ago. Why?
Dutch isn't a good idea for me, pawn storm sucks
@@kelvinmwiti2649 I should mention though that I didn't say anything about a pawn storm. what I meant by "monstrous pawn structure" is that I have a strong control over the board with those pawns. Most players don't know what to do after that and lose the initiative when I don't fall for their trap. And even with a messed up castle, I know that my king is still perfectly fine and my opponent has some catching up to do in development.
If they develop normally, the mainline is still a decent opening and if I want to vary it some more I go for the stone wall variation.
Dutch defense really only fails at engine level.
Same. I can’t stand openings such as the London system and guico piano, I much prefer dynamic positional imbalances
legends say the hardest part of this checkmate is finding someone that plays the dutch defense 💀💀💀
Ong💀💀
This is my main repertoire against the Dutch. It's called the Hopton attack and even when they don't fall for the trap they weaken their kingside so much it's a decent opening regardless
yes very good way to play against the dutch. Reminds me some themes we can find in the trompovsky attack as well (d4 Nf6 Bg5)..
Most of the Dutch defence players will play Nf6 after Bg5
You have to know this here's the moves that starts with they don't know this
They don't know they just see this
It's tricky
Slide the piece and stick with me
They chase the B, pawn E3
They get greedy, checkmate h5 with Queen
step one: have a brain dead friend
step two: have friends
Wrong, getting friends is first cuz you need friends to have a brain dead friend
Step 3 try to not commit suicide while playing against your friend
Well I think players who use Dutch Defense in the opening will already know that trap.
i just won a blitz game with this trap, then again im literally 600 lol
"queen sacrifice"

“You have to know this”
🎶 Here’s the moves it starts with 🎶
They don't know they just see this
@@digitail4000 slide the queen and bait it
I've only played the Dutch Defence ONCE and by pure luck (I wasn't aware of what I was doing), I didn't get this trap.
I won the match somehow
Love watching your reactions, your editing and enthusiasm coupled with good memory. you even take the show serious and connect the dots together, im sure you will get more subs over time ! Keep up the good work
"Slide the and bait it they're gonna take it, BLUNDER [??]" was the best line
Me playing with my friend who never plays pawn to f5....💀
Bro really missed mate in 2 to make a trap video
Lol the “you have to know this” cracks me up for some reason
someone playing the dutch defense is rarer than spotting a solar eclipse 10 times in a year
you have to know this

@@ZuraDWiqo they dont know they just see this
@@LiterallyJustLof If they slide, it gets tricky
and if they try to take control of the center like most people do?
“You HAVE to know this (Focus)! Here’s the moves it starts with, they don’t know, they played f4! S-s-slides to the right. Checkmate, in one.”
You would never get the chance to play this unless your opponent is brain dead.
Great video! 👍
Thank you! 👍
f pawn, can u just chill pls 💀
~ King probably
this is the dutch defense 👉🏻 popular opening 😅

dutch defense
@@chessscape nah, the trap
@@Look_Behind_You666 I think Bishop g5 is called the hopton attack
@@Toppat4Lyfe Yes the Hopton Attack. This mate in particular has also been called the Dutch Fools Mate
@@MikePWJr correct
Best move is when you intentionally lose your best warriors just to create an illusion in the eyes of opponent where they think that they are winning the whole game but the results surprise them.
That victory makes you feel so good.
Some Chess moves are so rare.
Instructions unclear, they pushed their pawn to F3 blocking the diagonal.
This is the first very common open move trap I've seen.. thanks
Best chess coverage I have ever seen.
In chess it's all fun and games until you play a trap perfectly and your opponent accidentallies plays a move that ruins it
Pov: u tried to do this and the openet played d5
Bro thinks he’s bobbybojangle
i went to check and yes it does sound like i start like him. not intentional
Next he sacrificed THE QUEEN!
I like how you tried with the bishop for 2nd attempt to mate .this will catch a lot of people out
I haven't played the Dutch for about 20 years, but I still remember this one. These move 2 nonsense tricks are why I started answering 1.d4 with e6.
Me: “Can you move the pawn in front of your bishop”
Him: “No”
And he sacrifices the QUEEN!!!!
For anyone wondering it’s called the Hopton attack. It’s a book move and I noticed that stockfish really likes it against 1. d4 f5.
If your opponent is foolish enough to play a bunch of king side pawns, he deserves to lose
Brilliant cure to an initially blunder move by the bishop.
The sound it makes for the killer move makes me laugh
Oh wow that is very sneaky im gonna use it. That bishop is just too tempting if your opponent realizes he can than he will most of the time.
As if a Dutch-defense player didn't know these traps.
If Black plays 2...h6, he's already showing that he doesn't recognize the danger.
man turned from Bobby bo jangles, to Chessscape to chess talk in one video.
You have to know this (focus) here’s the moves it starts with
He doesn't need the rook protection. All he needs is the king pawn progression
Last step : your opponent also watching
Dutch defense: hopton attack
After this my friends are now my enemies lol
Now if only my opponent sees this and follow exactly as instructed
The queen sacrifice, as Levi would say - is DISGGGGGGGUSTINNG
Dutch defense and greedy fits quite good to me. I say this as a dutchman
What I remember from lessons of chess is to defend that one pawn that was moved on the first black move, because it's only protected by king, and the only way you can escape this is only by putting another pawn
Hello! Fellow Dutch defense player here. We should all know to play Nf6 as soon as the Queen can get out. It's like Dutch defense 101... Don't get mated for pushing Fred the F Pawn
Normal people: find a friend who plays the Dutch
Me: *find friends*
After seeing this and playing, again losing in chess, now this is a real gambit 🤣
By the time I find that 1 person in the planet who uses the dutch defense I would have forgotten this strategy
Dutch defence: play with your opponent in dream
“You have to know this” got me thinking of “ here’s the moves it starts with they don’t know they just see this “😂😂
This is why you don't weaken the squares around the king
“You HAVE to know this”
“focus”
If that defense is named it makes me wonder why the worst opening move is named after the Dutch.
when i heard "you have to know this" in my mind i heard "here's the moves it starts with"
It's not a good trap unless it's got a Queen Sacrifice
I’ve gotten this and slight variations a startling number of times. Even when I don’t, the hopton always leads to fun games
Dang, that gave me goosebumps
That and many other traps and losing openings with weak kingside is the reason why I see 1... f5 as a blunder itself
Nice! I will remember this while playing the London!
Pawn e4, black takes pawn on e4, queen checks black, and black blocks with pawn. Bishop to protect the queen and when pawn takes its checkmate
2. Bg6 is called the Hopton attack, and most players do not respond with 3. … h6. In fact, most players respond with 3. … g6, preparing to fianchetto the bishop along the a1-h8 diagonal, which is a much better response. Players play this move about twice as often as 3. …h6.
I need more like this
Everytime im on UA-cam shorts i learn more chess moves 💀
looks like an advanced version of fool's mate tbh
I honestly do hope several of my friens who play Dutch Defense try to chase the Bishop as per video.
