omg the last one is super amazing!!! i found da second one when u sac da knight and da ruuhk.. but da first and last one were hard for a 500.. also thank u so much for da video
9th century sounds made up. The Queens power was elevated at the end of the middle age. Maybe some played it with powerful queens before, but 9th century means like 600 years before it was made popular. Nope. Maybe the other 2 but the first could also be made up in 18th/19th century and the inventor just said it's age old to gaim more popularity. Making up things back then were also often seen, not only in chess but like everywhere also.
5:26 i think that type of checkmates are specially named 4 horsemen of the apocalypse

This guy who existed 1200 years before us is better than most of us :(
No shit, he had 1200 years to practise

3:00 you may sacrifice another rook and that`s a stalemate
But there is a way to win

"The best checkmate goes with Da Rukh sacrifice" (!!)
Most famous Line for every chess puzzle "Chessscape people are not greedy"
Magnus would figure them out in ten seconds 💀
3 seconds*
They had a horse convention with the last one
Oh well, time to use my brain now for these puzzles
3:00 what if you sacrifice the rook with white. It is forced checkmate right??
how? Re6 check king takes your rook on e6 and then? 😀

0:32 After b3, we can play ra5
(i know im late to 2 months)
Blunder bc he just push b2
@somdig right move was g5, and then b3
If they move h4 after g5, we can play Kg6
I'm mad with myself botching the mating finish in the last puzzle...🤦🏾♂🤦🏾♂...when most (or all) else fails...
...SACRIFICE DA RUUKH OF COURSE!!!! 😤😤
I love you chessscape
you're gonna make me bluch :)

Imagine if they were better than Magnus
Chess at that time was quute different and had quite different rules.
Chessscape let's play one rapid game
Sir, please make course for video of Opening Ruy Lopez and the practice like Caro Cann before
SACRIFICE… *DA RUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
nice puzzles)
The last puzzle was just within my capabilities to solve
3:01 Why can't you just keep checking the king with the rook since if king takes rook, its stalemate? although not checkmate
4:18 I thought that the checkmate was the following: Nf7+, Nxf7, exf7, Kg8, f8=Q#
3:03 No, he's not going to checkmate on the next move as white plays Re6, immediately drawing the game. Kf6 was a major blunder.
how do you draw the game? its not stalemate ...
@@chessscapeCan you tell me which legal moves white has after Kxe6? Or do you mean that it's technically a dead position after Re6?
Back then rules were different
1:00 first time ever figuring out one of these puzzles 😄
Those were easy.
I thought of Da Rukh sacrifice and I found the checkmate.
I made 3/3 of them.

I started to watch this channel. And now I am 100% sure, that if you want to win a game you want to "SAKHRIFAIS DA RUUK"!!!
I m happy that i found solutions of these puzzles in one try 🙂 without cheating
should i call Kramnik? 😂

When was chess created
over 5000 years ago and it was slightly different rules. the game was called shatranj
I will be really happy if I would be able to win a game with a sacrifise. Thanks for those tricks.

I spent at least 10 minutes for the last puzzle...... AND I ACTUALLY SOLVED IT, I SOLVET 1 OF THE 3 PUZZLES 🤑
nice!
3:00 It's Re6 draw.
I found 3 check mates in 20 seconds
Stockfish always says that I blundered when i decide to sacrifice my queen. Idk why
1:42 wb en passant?
this guy teaches me a lot of sacrifices :0
you now need to replicate them in your games 😎
@@chessscape but i always ended up with stalemate 😂
I actually solved all of them
Isn't Knight d7 also mate?
First puzzle can't be 1100 years old.
Back then, rules were different, and Qe2-g4 move would be illegal.
You're right the 1st puzzle was made in 1600. The 2 others 1000 years ago
Also moving pawn two square is illegal
3:21 i found another
Rg5, sacrificing the Rook again, it's a free rook. After Rxg5, fxg5+
sacrifice DA RUKH(!!) AND THEN CHEKMAHTE 3:29
5:16
Counter brilliant
