Norwegian Bukkehorn (Previously Owned) Norwegian Bukkehorn (in G minor as per traditional horns). Hand made instrument, but maker unknown. Goat horn in one piece with simple carrying cover. Of great interest to Game of Thrones and Warduna fanatics! In excellent as new condition.
A folk instrument of goat's horn is used in Scandinavia found under the name bukkehorn or prillarhorn. Its fingerholes facilitate different pitches and melodic possibilities, it may be the archetype from which the cornettos were derived.
