Nice to see someone positive about this since people are already complaining so much. It's a $10 upgrade for if you already have the original and you get way better graphics, enhanced audio, all of the accessibility options from Forbidden West, Dualsense support and so much more and people are genuinely complaining. It's even the same price as the original, like, what's there to complain about? You're getting more for the same price! And worst of all, people are saying Aloy looks "ugly" and "fat" again. Like, what?
@@NotLanny Most of these ppl complaining are just mad they're not remastering a game they want. Most of them wanted a bloodborne remastered instead but they don't understand Guerilla is not responsible for remastering someone else's game.
I played Zero Dawn first, back in 2019, and while I don't have immediate plans to play it again, I'm glad this remaster is there, because it's a game I know I'll want to replay at some point. I don't think it takes time away from new development--especially when they farm it out to Nixxes. But even without that, different teams with different skills are most engaged at different points in the development process, so having something for the people who do a lot of hte polishing work to do while the next game is in early development, planning level and story structure makes sense. It's also a great sort of project to throw new staff on to learn the ins and out and quirks of the Decima engine. When I saw the negation reaction to Ghost of Yotei right after the negative rection to this, it just feels like a lot of people are saying "We want something new, but not this."
i played zero dawn way before forbidden west and im of the minority thats excited for this remaster. the graphics were insanely better in FW and the feel of the gameplay too. it was hard to return to zero dawn for me after that.
