This is the episode where you realize just how infinitely out of their depth the Winchesters actually are. A teenage Amara is able to easy overpower the king of Hell, and is God's sibling. That's a whole different league from even dealing with angels and demons. This season is such a ride. Buckle up!
Can we all take the time to appreciate how Sam successfully subdued two demons and trapped them so they could be exorcised and their hosts could be saved? Especially after years of the only options being trickery or killing them? It shows just how far he's come from the early seasons. Also, the last time Sam had visions, Azazel was alive and kicking. Just something to think about.
Look it was cool what Sam did but I wasn't a fan of him being dead set on exorcisms. What should've happen was Sam devote his time to finding ways to kill the demons but spare the hosts. Also what are you talking about? In the early season exorcisms were their main way to handle demons, but that stopped after seasons 3 episode "Just in Bellos" where they exorcised an army of demons but because they didn't die, they reported back to their boss and all the people the brothers tried to save ended up dead anyway. Not that is matters anyway I'm pretty sure this might be the last time they try exorcisms in the series.
Quite liked that: you clocking the looks from Sam and Castiel when Dean did not shoot straight. (Big surprise there.) By contrast, it hurts to hear about Len, and it hurt seeing you become saddened by that. Appreciated your thoughts on Crowley. And once again, old Booger, sorry Metatron doth continues to incite your ire, and it’s fantastic at this point just how SO DONE you are with him, whilst still giving Curtis his props.
@@jirachipl8193 Yes, she is his equal and opposite it make sense as The first thing God did in the Bible was Let there be light Which was basically him betraying her
@@LegoGBlok It didn't for me. My opinion on him is,,, if God can whip up universes.. he can surely whip up tablets too. The scribe is an unnecessary character.
Among all the things that makes season 11 my favorite.. Crowley trying to parent is in the top 5. *chef's kiss* I just can't get excited about the scenes with metadouchatron in them. Yeah, it was Cas with him but still.. the troll-angel was there. ewww I wish the reveal had come from someone else. even Naomi would have been better. RIP Len. I would have liked to see him again too. The boys really nailed the emotional facial expressions in this one. Sam's confusion at the visions..the wheels turning trying to figure things out... Dean's conflicting emotions about Amara.. until she threw Sam. The resolve on his face at that moment was palpable. She broke Dean's number one rule.. don't screw with Sammy. I love Dean's thoughts on socially acceptable binge watching and Cas' reply. There was a pretty significant fan blow-back at the music choice for the end of this episode.

Yeah I love Sam's arc this season, but the visons are a clear red flag given his history
@@patrickmcguire7896 Sam did a lot of exorcisms in season 4 too. It was one of the things that tempted him toward demon blood.
One of my favorite episodes is coming up. 9 and 20-22 are some of my favorite episodes of the whole series.

That's the Darkness is god Vengeful sister is a very unexpected and creative choice I respect a lot
it fits, while God is mostly considered as light.

i forgive him later in the season because he is kind to a dog
Poor Cas has had it rough and while I'm glad he didn't let Metaron manipulate him I agree with Dean he should've killed him or locked him up
