Looks like you thoroughly enjoyed that ride, it looked very nice, great footage too. Even on a planned short ride, I always take extra food for my inevitable ‘adventure extensions’! As I’m lifting my bike over a no entry barrier I think “oh good, It’ll be nice and quiet on this next section “ 😃 Cheers 👍 Oh and isn’t it great when you find new trails on your doorstep !
Yeah, I need to be more prepared. I’ve grabbed a couple of bags of sweets to shove in my pocket for next time. I need to put some cash in my spares pouch too and then I can always grab something at a pub if nothing else. 👍🏼
nice video - that looked like a wonderful bank hol ride, yep be careful with the hidden ruts on the overgrown sections and those stinging nettles can pack a punch! I find those work barriers don't count when you're riding off-road...sometimes! looked like a great day out on the bike, pack a bag of haribos next time and always take the fun way home - you pinned some of sections too :) nice one
liking the new tat looks like u picked a nice day for a ride, how you finding the GRX group set looking to upgrade my new gravel build with it have ultegra at the mo but that's not really a gravel setup
Thanks. The tat is a good handful of years old on the whole, but learned from the one I had at 16 that if you don’t keep the sun off, nearly 30 years later it’s not going to look great at all😩 So I always try and slap some factor 50 on them. The GRX set up is amazing! I can’t overstate how much it’s improved shifting and braking, and I’m able to stay in the big ring for the majority of the time, so it obviously all runs with much less resistance… and I’ve always kept my drive-chain clean and lubed, so it’s definitely the GRX that’s smoother rather than it just being new and clean. Definitely worth the investment. 👍🏼
Just got back from an off-road ride on my cyclocross, bike sat watching another great video with a big mug of coffee. Love the tattoo 👍🚴🏽♀️
Thank you☺️ Hope you enjoyed your ride🚲🤙🏻
