Hello dear friends :) I was not planning to film this video but I thought that I could share with you my second day wear test. :) I was surprised by the results. The powder quickly made my skin very oily. I hope you will find my video helpful. This video is intended to help you. I am not saying that this is a bad powder. I'm sure it will work great on some people. I am still testing it and I will post a dedicated review in a few days. However, so far I am not very impressed with the results. xoxo
Great review dear Angela 💕 foundation and powder are not for me but I was interested so I appreciate your honesty and your in depth review 💕the eye palette is beautiful ☺️ on you
I agree with u 100 per cent about not having to work so hard to make high end products work. They should be a pleasure, something that makes us happy and feel fabulous. I am brutal when it comes to complexion products, so i totally appreciate ur honest reviews. Love ur channel, u r a truly beautiful woman. XO
Thank you so much for giving us the tutorial for Tisse Rivoli!! I was waiting for this video!!! I love your look💕 Now I'm ordering it! Also I really appreciate your honest review of the Dior powder. Your review is always the most helpful one because you give us lots of information in different situations and over the time.
Hello Maria :) Thank you so much for watching my video. I think you will not be disappointed with Tisse Rivoli. This is my number one Chanel eyeshadow palette. xoxo
Thanks for your honest review. I love Dior makeup, but I usually only wear liquid foundations. Although, I did find the Backstage Face&Body foundation a little bit drying. I'm curious as well to see what happens with this powder test in a few days!
I have so much to catch up on. This was great. You have no idea how reassuring it is that even beautiful you, who always looks flawless, has a problem with your products now and then! It's not just me! Thank you for being open and honest! Of course you still look stunning, but you could see the disappointment in your eyes. We feel your pain, the struggle is real! :) XO
I feel if u have to work so hard for a product to work then it’s not the right one for you. I appreciate your time that u put into this. By the way, you have great skin.
You are saving me so much money! Honest reviews like this are what keeps me glued to your channel ❤️ Plus seeing products on someone with skin as pale as mine. 🥰
Hello Beth :) I am so happy to hear that I'm saving you money because that's exactly why I started my channel: to share my honest experience with products and to create a friendly place where makeup lovers can rely on my reviews. A huge thank you for watching my videos! xoxo
Oh Angela! You are way too kind and patient to keep giving that powder a try! Thank you for the time and effort in doing so. It’s definitely a no for me, and again, thank you. ❤️
Hello Gianna :) Tisse Rivoli is my favorite Chanel eyeshadow palette and I think it look beautiful on everyone. It is a timeless eyeshadow palette that works every time. xoxo
This powder works better without foundation. I tried it with Dior Forever natural nude and Estée Lauder water fresh foundation and it looked very cakey. If I only use a little concealer and no foundation at all, it gives me a very natural light coverage. Blurs my pores as well. Perfect for no makeup makeup look. I have combination skin
really appreciate this video! thankyou for saving me my coins haha such a shame because I was pretty sure I was gonna get it and also being neutral tone won't work for me. I might instead get a darker shade and use as a bronze/contour. x
No one can say you are not trying to make this work! 🙂 I have dry skin so I stay away from powders as much as possible and wasn't considering purchasing this. I am interested in watching part 3 to see what happens.
Thank you Angela I was about to take it this morning but I think I 'm gonna wait your tomorrow video because I think that I don't know. Maybe it s not for me Have you ever try the best seller setting spray from dior? There is another one... And just se the new eyeshadow but just available for two days so I have to make a choice. So hard 😊💞
The powder definitely seems to be for drier skin types. I have been looking at the Tisse Rivoli quad for a while, it is very pretty on you, I'm not sure if it would be good for 'more mature' eyelids. I may just give it a try. Thank you for the video and the thorough review. You always look beautiful! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
Hello Ginny :) Tisse Rivoli looks gorgeous eve on "more mature" eyelids because the sheen is very subtle and sophisticated. I think these kind of shades look even more beautiful than matte eyeshadow because they diffuse the light and make the eyes pop but in a very elegant way. I think you should definitely give it a try. If you do, please let me know what you think. xoxo
Angela I ve just seen the application of the powder on an oily skin and she said that it was awful till she wear it 5 times and after that she said that it has a "pellicule" on the top of the powder that we have to take of and after that It works better can you please tell us if it's right? And also she put it as a bronzer and it works?! Thank you 💞
Both Chantecaille and Jouer make mica-based powders like this Dior. They are not setting powders, they are finishing or spot blur powders. I am combo skinned, and I am much older so a blur powder like this is very handy. First I use an actual setting powder to set my makeup and control oil, such as the Prisme Libre powder. Then I can use the blur powder one of two ways: with a kabuki-style buffing brush (such as Sonja G face brushes), I stamp a tiny amount of the mica powder onto my pore spots and the under-eye. The second way is to use the kabuki buffing brush to buff the cheeks with the powder to add glow. I do not use the mica powder in my T-zone because it is already glowy and my matte setting powder takes care of that. If you watch Grace at EverydayEdit, she uses the mica powder to stamp on her concealer spots.
Hello Cwyn :) That's how I started using the powder and I will show it in my full review of the powder (video coming in a week). However I still don't like the powder. I made it work somehow but I will definitely put in my drawer of unused makeup products. It's just not as flattering on me as Chanatecaille or hourglass finishing powders. xoxo
Nice video! I tried the new Dior powder and I’m sending it to a friend with a very dry skin. I didn’t like it. My t zone was very greasy too and was a pretty cold day. I can’t imagine how would be on a hot humid english summer. 😖
Oh, I was sure I would love this Dior powder. I don't k own what to do. I have combo skin, I winter it gets dryer. Thank u for the honest review. P.s. what nail color u r wearing? 😘
Hello Angela. this finds you okay. I am not a powder person. never use setting powders Only at the end a light dusting of guerlaine meteorites in Clair/2. so I am never interested in face powders. XOXO
I think this is the most disappointed I have ever seen you about a product, so I believe it must be truly awful. Maybe they designed it for dry skin? But I don't know, how many of us with dry skin are really in the market for a powder foundation.

So just buy the foundation and the spray and a lipliner 😁💞 hope that can help you. Maybe the powder next time but??? Not sure 😉💞
This was so helpful! I passed on the powder but I have been reconsidering. I think I will just wait.
Great review dear Angela 💕 foundation and powder are not for me but I was interested so I appreciate your honesty and your in depth review 💕the eye palette is beautiful ☺️ on you
I admire your persistence! Most products reviewed on UA-cam rarely work on my very dry, mature pigmented skin.
Don't feel bad.

Hello Katherine :) Thank you so much for the kindest words! xoxo
Tisse Rivoli my favourite Chanel quad!
Oh Angela! You are way too kind and patient to keep giving that powder a try! Thank you for the time and effort in doing so. It’s definitely a no for me, and again, thank you. ❤️
Tisse Rivoli looks gorgeous on you, I must get this palette.
Hello Gianna :) Tisse Rivoli is my favorite Chanel eyeshadow palette and I think it look beautiful on everyone. It is a timeless eyeshadow palette that works every time. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday Is this similar to Tom Ford Nude Dip?

Hello Louise :) Thank you so much for watching my videos! It means a lot to me. xoxo
thankyou so much for your review 💓 by the way what the shades do you use on this video ?
Perhaps you should try it with their new base and possibly sublimage night extract made your skin producing more oil. Just a thought. 💋
Thank you Angela I was about to take it this morning but I think I 'm gonna wait your tomorrow video because I think that I don't know. Maybe it s not for me

Hi Angela, I tried the powder yesterday and I have the same issue. It emphasizes pores and texture a lot. I will be returning it.
Hi Ana, thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. It's really helpful to know how the product works on other people. xoxo
May I ask what nail polish you are wearing and what color you wear in Chanel's water tinted thank you ♡

Merci beaucoup Sopi :) You made my day! xoxo
It sounds like the Dior powder would be nice for dry skin. I’m hoping it’s not to yellow on me.
