Thanks man for featuring my hometown idols, and my friends Big Country. I fell in love with the sound of Stuart Adamson's guitar aged only 7, 40 years ago and was so lucky to even call him my friend. I miss him every single day but his music will always fill me with joy. Again, thank you so very much from Dunfermline toon, Stay Alive 😀👍🏴🏁👍😀
Great , great band. Saw them loads back then. Awesome musicians , and always had a great connection with the crowd. Stuart was an extraordinary guitarist and songwriter. RIP to the man , loved him.
There so much to this song. Lyrically and musically, they are painting beautiful pictures on a massive canvas. Listen to the emotion in this song, you will see and feel it.
@@D1Gr8hansGraf Thank you for your kind words,i am so glad that you enjoy Scotland and that you were made welcome, stay safe an d God bless you, best wishes Ian.
Yes, I totally agree about the bass work. For me, it's Tony Butler's finest work with the band, although the entire Steeltown album that came out after this song is right up there as well. Wonderland is close to being my fave of all BC's songs, too. (Also, if you haven't already done so, I recommend checking out Scott Whitley's playthrough of this song. He was the band's bass player for about 6 or 7 years). ua-cam.com/video/xDrR6SGoNdw/v-deo.html

Brilliant song from a brilliant band
Tony Butler is a beast on bass guitar. This band had the best and among the most in-demand rhythm sections.
Lots of Big Country live videos to enjoy. See the band at work.
Someone else likes all my favorite songs!
Five words: Big Country, Tall Ships Go.

Huuge!! You are quite knowledgeable now!! Cheers!!
Great choice,who's done this?...classic band,great reaction.
how come when people send lists for Tre, they want him to review the entire library of some band? why not just sample a bunch of different folks?
Would have been interesting to hear a slower, more expansive version of this? It sounds a bit too rushed and crowded to my ear
