I met Stuart in Brighton in the early 90s, he was such a lovely guy that my then girlfriend thought we were old friends. Which in a way we were. So sadly missed.
Ah, I love that story. He seems like a lovely guy. I’m 37 and recently came across big country, shocked when I googled their history. Can’t believe he felt he had to end his life. 😢 see seems the good hearted guys suffer the most. Lovely to know he was the gent he seems. Rest In peace. Won’t be long now and we’ll all be on the other side too. Must just be who’s scared to hell of it.
The actual film clip was filmed in Australia, they did another couple here in Australia also then went back home. We were to see the band in brisbane Australia in 1984 stuart got lanrigintus from the world tour they were on . We were refunded our tickets in full. Such a shame i never got to see him in concert, they had such a great lot of great songs .. RIP Stuart..
I feel for you brudda - I got to see them twice in March of '84 here in the states - hate you missed 'em "Wonderland" was electric live & new @ those shows!

This song will always be linked to my first love. One of the nicests songs ever. RIP Stuart. Sensitive soals have no place in our world.

That explains why the landscape looked so familiar. Big Country is always welcome in our big country..
I had a ticket for Melbourne, May 11, 1984. 😭 I’ve still got the ticket.
