Le Son Continu 2017

Once again, I was fortunate enough to travel to Indre province in France this summer to attend 'Le Son Continu' music festival. What a brilliant 4 days! The organisation was superb, as always, and the music was excellent. The festival was centred around 130 luthiers who set up stalls so that they could sell their musical instruments. Bagpipes, accordions, hurdy-gurdies, fiddles, whistles and numerous other instruments were for sale. There were dances, music sessions, demonstrations and concerts as well. I have changed the format of my video this year just a little bit so that you can enjoy listening to more music being played. It is impossible to include in one video all of the great music that I heard but I have selected a variety of performances from the sessions, the concerts and the dancing.
