Le Son Continu 2016

This year's 'Le Son Continu' music festival took place over the four days 14 - 17 July 2016, in the grounds of Château d'Ars, in Indre province, in France. The festival was centred around 130 instrument makers ( 'le salon de lutherie' ) who came from all over Europe and offered their instruments for sale. In addition, there were concerts each evening, music competitions, demonstrations by the instrument makers, lots of dancing and lots of informal music sessions! Once again, the weather was hot and sunny, the music and dancing were great, the people were so nice and the food and drink were delicious! The organisation of the whole event was superb. I have captured just a few of the highlights of the festival in my video because it would take more than one video to capture them all! I may well post a second video here once I have finished editing it. I hope that you enjoy watching it as much as I have enjoyed making it! (15 September 2016)
