Lego Imperial Prison: Speedbuild & Step-by-Step Guide

Hi I’m Brick2Rick and I love Lego Pirates. In this video I provide a speedbuild and slower instructions for my Lego Imperial Prison MOC. It is loosely based on the classic Eldorado fortress set, with an imposing raised entrance to the prison and guards posted inside and on top to keep the prisoners behind bars. After the speedbuild there is a slower step-by-step guide so you can go ahead and make something similar at home if you want.

I'm glad you like it - this is one of my only true MOCs on the channel made from my spares (I usually just do alternate builds). I was fairly pleased with it but it needs a few internal details added. I think it matches Eldorado Fortress quite well - I aim to pick this up before it retires later in the year

@@Brick2Rick I think you did great especially just dipping into the spare parts box. The structure looks great, both solid and with a visually distinct shape. It's a real winner. I love all your alt builds and say follow whereever your fun and passion go, but I think it was a huge success and would welcome more wholly originals done by you too.
But yeah the new Eldorado was amazing. I bought it with Birthday money haha. I love the small ship so much for being a tiny guy, it came together in a fun way. It's a winner set. Just needs some classic parrots. I wish it had more yellows and less grays so it would be better suited for an Imperial MOC parts pack, but I think you might be better off just getting e tras than buying a set just for MOCing. Still, it's a great set how it comes, and amazing with tiny modifications. I put up a short a few weeks back showing my mod to the Crane, but I need to do a video showing the changes I did to the Admiral Office too. But yeah I say I'd your a Pirate fan that's a must get set. That said, your MOC using the Creator Castle sitting next to this bad boy would give it a run for it's money.
In fact, I think it would be super cool to see them together if you still have em both together. But I know you've probably parted both by now. Anyhow I'm rambling too much. Great stuff friend.

I think you are right about new sets - some are getting properly out of reach now. But there are some awesome bargains on Ebay. I get most of my Lego from there these days!
