In this episode of Urban Debate, anchor Shreya Dhoundial discusses the first challenge for Modi Govt 3.0 and widespread calls to cancel NEET UG 2024, petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the National Testing Agency's (NTA) decision to award grace marks to around 1,600 students. The petitioners seek to scrap the results and conduct a re-examination. Dissatisfaction among students and parents has grown due to some students scoring high marks, including 720, due to the grace marks. A four-member committee is reviewing the issue, with a report expected within a week. Opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and Sanjay Singh, have criticized the government over the controversy. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also reiterated his party's long-standing opposition to NEET.
