I like Joe as a UFC commentator, but he is a weird guy.
1. His opinions on weed and taboo subjects are whacked as F. Cult like. I think he is too intense and gets too deep into it. I had a brother in law just like him. He didn't finish college. One day he started reading websites about food, diet and s...t and the guy started to shove his deep knowledge of healthy foods in everybody's throat at every turn, using high level language he read on the websites, trying to impress the family and s...t. We would laugh behind his back. He was too pushy with the subject, would send us several emails daily about healthy eating and would talk just like Joe. He got weird overnight.
2. Builds average UFC fighters with BS. Ok, that's or was his job I guess. Example: UFC fighter Chael Sonnen. Chael is a good wrestler, but not top level. His fighting record in the UFC is horrible. You wouldn't think so by listening to Joe.
3. He was bullied back at school. I believe that's why he started practicing TWD. He was good at it too.
That said I like Joe. He is good guy and I loved him as commentator in the UFC. He has the voice for it and his building BS about fighters is entertaining to me. Chael was also one of my favorite fighters in the UFC due to his personality.

My son told me about Joe Rogan. I know a little bit about a lot of things, but Joe knows a lot about everything. He's incredibly intelligent, and the variety of subjects he covers in his podcasts is amazing!
Carol Jo Martin I think, more than intelligence, it's about him being so curious and interested in everything. He listens so thoroughly to his guests and reads everything. It's really an awesome quality. I have a friend who seems to know everything, when people call him smart he says that he doesn't view himself as smart, he just looks up everything he wants to know

It`s called curiosity, he asks questions, because he has a broad spectrum of interests, that`s why he knows a lot of things.
What makes his podcasts entertaining is that he`s unbiased and entertaining and has many interesting guests :)
Plus I'm pretty sure everyone on his podcast is high 80% of the time. After he went on a rant about how effed it would be to be a cobra I kinda figured he's been hitting the old triple cheese with everything on it burger.

Armando Mendoza: I didn't know about the House in Bell Canyon. I used to ride dirt bikes there before they had even started construction on those house's.There was even a little stream with nice tree's that overhung it that I took a few ladies to. It was a favorite place to hangout for many years. Then I moved for several years and when I came back there was a guardhouse up a bit from where we mostly rode, and lots of pricey house's. I couldn't help but feel sad, but progress in the San Fernando Valley area was crazy. Like they say, "Land, they ain't making any more of it". I can't imagine what the area looks like now.. Thanks.. :) and yeah, TMI.. LOL

Finally the world has a positive role model that will admit his faults, flaws and irrational thinking when they occur. I know quite a few people who felt they had to try all the drugs after learning they were lied to while going through with the DARE program. A lot of people got hooked on meth through this process.
Rogan is leading the trend away from the mainstream media toward more focused avenues like Podcasts.
There are only a few things he's wrong about but this dude is responsible for millions of people deciding to walk away from the reality we are being sold. The world is really going to miss this guy when he dies.

College is a scam as well. Athletes get in, get treated as Gods even when they do horrible things. Meanwhile the average student gets charged significantly more, going way into debt even at graduation, when most Athletes leave as Juniors to the NFL or a "ONE AND DONE" leaving for the NBA or overseas not having to even pay a penny for the little time that they are there. That's called a RACKET. Lots of people go into the military for the GI BILL yet isn't enough for a 4 year degree. So if pot or other psycho drugs can expand your mind, that's why you go to college in the first place. And it doesn't take a 4 year degree, it doesn't have you in tremendous debt before you apply for your first job! Even then, you have to make enough for the cost of living first before you can tackle paying off your student loans. You know how I got out of paying student loans? I had to go to an Employment Agency, I was sent as a Day Labor for a Construction Company. I didn't know a damn thing about construction, or even the laws that regulate it. I ended up falling 50 feet to the ground, severing my spinal cord. I'm paralyzed from my chest down. Because I was a Temp, the construction company wasn't liable. What kind of crap is that? My life has been a LIVING HELL ever since. I need a lawyer now because the mediation that was signed by them, it's not been followed one bit. I'm slowly losing my mental capacity to even fight. And that's exactly what the construction company wants. Because they're still doing these same unsafe practices now in 2019. So if there is an Attorney who happens to be on here, I would appreciate any advice.
