Alux you omitted to mention Putin’s luxury yachts, although technically there are many questions about who actually owns these or who pays for their up keep. This is a bit like someone coming to your home and parking a couple of luxury motors on your driveway and leaving you with the keys and registration documents. This particular luxury yacht was presented to Putin by several of the overseas Russian elite, no doubt to placate Putin, considering that many of his vocal exiled opponents have been assassinated. But when this multi-million dollar yacht was presented to Putin at a time when no American President could accept such a gift - period! You do have to ask the question as to why? And because the majority of Putin’s cronies own the media, such stories do not make the news in Russia - the images the average Russians get are of modest president swimming, horse riding bare chested and hunting in Siberia - not living it large on his luxury yacht - ignorance is a bliss as they say.
