Ann had some crayons, sidewalk caulk and trinket games. What a hit Rhiannon could relax and get ready for an absolutely fabulous set. Dom he was a little harder to corral. Nicest guy in the world insisted we call bones and I had to insist he got in the golf cart so I could take him to the stage.

This young lady is also a banjo player in a guitar player I've been listening to her for the last 3 days and lots of different videos she's doing really well and she plays a nice banjo with No frets on it from Africa

Her voice stopped me in my tracks. She followed that with Pretty Little Girl...barefoot. Spent the past hour researching her. Amazingly talented woman, pure Americana, a true original, beautiful inside and out.
I'm not sure Rhiannon Giddens is actually human. I think she must be some sort of alien or celestial being from somewhere where the people are far more beautiful and talented and charismatic than us mere mortals. She is named after a Celtic goddess, after all . . .
Saw her & Dom a few years ago. When they came out for the encore her infant girl toddled out with her and sat quietly on the stage floor playing with some discarded instrument & occasionally checking out the audience.

She played the fiddle, sang and danced the song, "Pretty Little Girl...", amongst others, and I was charmed by her talent, charisma and beauty. After researching her and learning about how much her racial mix informs her music I added her records to my Pandora collection :)
She does it all. There is a video on You Tube of her signing Édith Piaf's "La Vie en Rose," with flawless French pronunciation! Sounds almost like Piaf herself!
