@@brianli6562 it really depends on the eye of the beholder one can say it’s the afterlife since it’s been said the afterlife has fields of gold or you can say the future change tbh I thought it was both.
At first, I thought this is what happened to the two. Just imagine, they died, but not really (FT does love doing that after all) and they're sent into some sort of different space or realms where the two lived normal lives, happy. Eventually, they learn the dark truth and must leave their little happy life and face the dragons.
I teared up watching the last episode of,, the arc thinking it was the last episode of the whole anime. Then I found out there was more episodes a few months later. When it was on Netflix they only had about 42-45 episodes
Fairy Tail endings are pure nostalgia, no matter If cheerful, silly, romantic, or sad (like Be As One 9:00 ,my fav along with merry Go round 1:53) they never fail to make me cry of joy and think about my friends and family and loved ones, even (especially 😆) my cats👆💙

These endings are so nostalgic... I started watching Fairy Tail 8 years ago, when I was 11. I remember during that time I played this online game where I created a guild and tried to make it similar to Fairy Tail because I loved it so much. I created my guild that after a while felt very much like a family guild... we played together for about 3-4 years until well, we were just growing up and moving on to different stages of life, like high school. I remember we spent Christmas and Easter together many times, we celebrated our birthday's together, we did quests together, fought a lot, and would spend hours online just chatting and planning our big meet up in Italy once we grew older. It's been 7-8 years since, and these endings just remind me so much of them. We tend to keep in touch from time to time but it's not the same. Jeez, some even have kids already. I know some people would disagree, but online friends are really true friends

no other anime can compare to fairytail's op and end, the chibi art and everything!! from start to end (fairytail 2009- the final series) been watching when I was in the fourth grade to college (junior in college) will always go back to fairytail no matter, even if people say fairytail sucks cuz of the power of friendship trope, i don't care everyone has opinions and they can stick by that, but i will still love fairy tail, it's very nostalgic and i love the power of friendship trope!!
