I m born in bandung and grow up with few indo dutch families in jalan sukajadi known as bronbeek before, bandung as always means a lot emotionally to me, the food , people, the park and the weather make so much different with any other province in Indonesia ... OMG!! The house on 10:34, that is my Grandfathers house!!!! ❤. Didn't know before that is was so old. It still looks the same today in 2020 almost 100 years later. My Grandfather used to work for the train company when he was young, which what I think what the "S.S." in the video stands for, Staatsspoorwegen

No wonder that Bandung was called "Paris van Java".....I just find this video about beautiful Bandung and Lembang in the past. Thank you very much for documenting our Birth place Bandung and Lembang is our hometown, we've been Living and grown up near Boscha over generation " Batureok", we called Boscha "Sterwah". everywhere was so beautiful and clean just like in Europe

Mooie beelden maar ze geven ook een gevoel van verdriet. Duidelijk is de Nederlandse overheersing waarneembaar. Triest voor vele slachtoffers en nabestaanden en de vele Indische Nederlanders die het land uit moesten omdat de vrijheid van Indonesie niet vanzelfsprekend was.
